Chương 1: Chapter one
Everything started on a Monday.The sun was bright in the sky, people where coming and going on the street ,the merchants where all busy,tidying their shops.I was walking in silence watching the bustling street, trying to find out where i did wrong to fail yet another job interview.Maybe should i listen to my mother,leave everything behind and concentrate on farming ?But do i really leave it like this ? What about my efforts,will they go to waste ?No impossible,there must be something...As i was lost in my thoughs ,i didn't even notice Jack my bestfriend trying to get my attention.A tap on the shoulder got me out of my thoughts.
-Hi Peter !How are you ?You seem so down, What's up ?
-Hi Jack (i gave him a rassuring smile) i'm fine don't worry.
-Oh, another one ?
-Yes another failed interview sigh
-Next time will be better
-I hope..
We resumed walking in silence, watching the busy people on the street until we spoted a mango tree and stoped to get some mangoes.They were big and yellow.After getting enouth mangoes,we resumed walking and i initiated the conversation.
-I thought about your proposition.I was opposed to it as i thought that i could get a job there but not now.It won't be a walk in the parc but i need to try it for the last time.No matter what before giving up my dreams.
-...sigh,Did you think it through ?You know that there is no going back once we start and no garanty that we will make it alive right ?
-Yes i do,and i am ready.Futhermore i believe that we will make it alive and achieve our dreams.
-And if we fail ?(he added playfully)
-Then that's our badluck !
We smiled at each other and walked the rest of the way in silence.
As we reached my home,i got in and came back with a bag containing all my savings that i gave him.As he took it we looked at each other for a while before he turned around and left. I stood there watching his retreating back until he disappeared in the neighborwood , thinking about my life and the challenge that i will soon face,with a smile on my lips and the fire of hope burning in me,i turned around and entered my home.My dreams where now near my reach.
Little did i know at this time that we would face so many dangers and that i would regret my thoughts of today.And neither did i think that what i think as Eden may be in reality Hell.
