Chương 1: THE DEATH
Grieving in his one and only girlfriend's death, Kagen fell under the most destructive and difficult obstructions in life which is called depression. He left the hope of living in a normal world.
He was walking on one side of the road without knowing if it was the wrong or right way. he didn't know where to go.
Where to sleep?
He couldn't even see the world as colorful as people see.
As he was walking on the wrong side of the road and couldn't handle his balance, he was about to fall to the ground.
Someone from the crowd held him and prevented him from failing and asked "are you good, brother?"
He wanted to thank him. But couldn't let those words out of his mind.
He couldn't control his body. Kagen didn't say anything but just glared at him.
And the man who held him left him as soon as Kagen glared at him. He once again started his walk and walked a few steps and stopped there.
He saw a social lavatory near the road and scooted towards it. As soon as he reached that place he heaved blood there. His conception became blurry. He was dizzying in the lavatory. But he didn't plunge this time and stood still with his comprehensive capacity.
After took grasping his body he rinsed his face and emptied the basin where he heaved and said "Dammit, shit, shit"
"Cough, cough" again he panted, and when he took his hand to enclose that cough, after the cough he saw blood on that hand's palm.
As he saw blood, tears ran down from his eyes. But he ignored it and washed his hands. After wiping his tears he left the restroom.
He thought 'well, why?'
'Did I do something to become something like that?'
It's already had been four months since his girlfriend's funeral. He was still just wandering around either and thither with the hope maybe he found his girlfriend somewhere. He was a programmer and his all redemption had already been ended.
Kagen and his girlfriend bought a house to live there. But never got the chance to live there happily.
Kagen was still responsible himself for his girlfriend's death.
He thought 'maybe if I was there at that time. Maybe I could have saved her.'
Controlling his tears with all his might, he left the restroom and ran without knowing the destination. He had no energy. He didn't eat for a day and left his house.
At first, he only searched for a day and then returned to their house but after two months he lost his composure and started to find her without resting or eating properly.
He slowed down as his energy drained out and huffed there resting his hand on his legs and sitting there. People who were passing there took pictures and laughed at him.
That day he knew the power of clothes. He looked like a homeless person there. After some time people left him after teasing him.
He got up one more time and walked. He ignored what people said. He was still in suffering. As he walked a few steps the earth started to tremble.
An earthquake occurred at that moment. As he couldn't balance himself on his own he held a pole tightly near him. After some time the earthquake came down and everywhere the destruction already took place.
As he left the pole to regain his balance he stood up and saw two little girls screaming with tears for their mother "maa, mama, mommy, where are you? Please come out."
they were asking for help " We are here now come out. We are safe. Stefany's leg is still under the brick, please someone help her. "
Kagen saw that among two girls there was still a girl there whose leg was still under that brick. They were around five years old. They couldn't lift the rock from there.
But the most unfortunate thing was everyone who saw them didn't help them but asked for help even if it was just a scratch.
Before knowing anything Kagen's leg started to act his own and when Kagen notices anything he already presented there and tried lifting up the brick.
Kagen asked, "are you okay?"
One among the two girls replied "brother, will you help us? Please help my sister."
Kagen patted her head and said, "don't worry, I will help her, you stand here and don't cry ok?"
The girl wiped her tears but still couldn't wipe it all. Her eyes were still wet.
She replied "hmm... Ok"
The other girl was crying. Kagen said, "don't worry, brother will save you, don't let that tears down ok?"
"Please save me, brother" another girl replied.
Kagen knew he didn't have the energy to lift that rock so he asked for helped them to the passing passengers.
Most of the people ignored them and those who stopped told him "I don't have any money, don't come to the road to beg."
"God decided to kill them who you are to disrespect almighty god's decision!"
He reached his limit. Despite his low energy he decided to lift that up and tried his best.
He said to that girl "I will lift that brick ok, you go stand there, and when I lift that you will pull your sister ok?"
The girl agreed "yes" and stood beside that girl.
Kagen lifted that brick with his left energy and as soon as he lifted that up the sister pull her sister and saved her.
They were crying while hugging each other and said "sob… sob... thank you. Sob. Sob. Brother"
In the deep of distress for the first time, he smiled.
But unfortunately, his smile didn't last long. As soon as Kagen left that brick and accepted their thank you he saw a big wall fall from the sky maybe from the building beside them.
The wall was falling right above the two girls. He jumped with all his stored strength and drove them from that wall and pushed them out of harm's way.
But when he opened his eyes he found himself under that wall. He only saw the girl saying something while tearing them hard.
he saw them from a little gap created by the wall due to the impact. He was so tired that he couldn't even breathe properly. He couldn't hear anything. his body was refusing to open his eyes.
Seeing the tears from their eyes as he tried to reach them with his hands he found that his hands were missing. For the last time, he took a deep breath and saw his girlfriend's face in his eyes, and with a satisfied smile, his soul left his body.
When he opened his eyes he found himself in a place that he never knew existed.
