The seventh and eighth floors expanded into vast mountainous forests, dwarfing even the sixth floor in size. On these levels, one could find the mighty Battle Bears and fierce Warring Mandrills, lured by the Elixir of Temptation. And as for the new ninth floor, for the moment, it remained Simon's private sanctuary.
Having finished his meal, Simon accessed the [Main Menu] and decided to try his luck with the [Gacha] once more. He had spent a considerable amount of DP on it in recent days, mostly receiving items of [C] or [D] rank.
Despite his hopes of drawing something above [B] rank, he knew the chances were slim. As such, this time he chose to use the [100,000 DP] option. Taking a deep breath, Simon pressed on the gacha and awaited the outcome with anticipation.
After a while, the air around the ninth floor began to change, and a red magic circle with complicated patterns appeared above.
Thunder surged from the edges of the circle, creating an otherworldly display that lasted for a brief moment before revealing what had emerged.
It had four strong forelegs and two hind legs. Wide draconic wings were attached to its horse body, a fiery mane cascaded down its spine. It had 3 pairs of pitch-black eyes and a red pupil in between.
Two red horns that looked like antlers protruded from its head. The creature's six hooves were on fire along with its crimson flaming tail. It was completely decked out in ancient battle armor giving a sturdy and indestructible aura.

Its mere charge was enough to send monsters stronger than itself fleeing in fear. Its deadly horns were its sharpest weapons, capable of piercing through even the most robust armour. In the heat of battle, the Bloodthorn Warhorse fed on its enemies' blood, enhancing its own strength.
The analysis gave him detailed information on the warhorse. But even without looking at the information, Simon recognized it. That was because it was one of the popular steeds in one of the games developed by the company he worked for in his previous life.
Because of its popularity, it was also carried onto the other games that the company developed, including Laplace.
While Simon was looking at it in a daze, the Bloodthorn Demonic Warhorse raised its four powerful forelegs and thumped it into the ground. The ground trembled a little as the horse neighed. Its voice sounded more like a roar than a neigh.
Simon gave a fearless smile and approached it.
"It's good to see you again Friend." He said as he stroked its head. Three pairs of eyes looked at him but did not reject his approach. After a while, it bowed its head showing its subservience to him.
"From now on, let's be comrades," he declared as he confidently mounted the creature.
Together, they soared out of the dungeon, ascending into the sky with the Bloodthorn Demonic Warhorse unleashing its majestic wings, each spanning five meters in width. Every flap generated a fierce gust of wind, propelling them forward with astonishing speed. In just a couple of minutes, they could cover kilometres of ground.
