Raven could no longer say anything about her determined resolve. All he could do was support her in every way possible, standing by her side as she faced her past head-on.
"I just hope that Arjan Alaric is just as wise," Seraphina said, her voice tinged with a mixture of hope and apprehension.
Raven nodded, his arms tightening around her, drawing her closer.
"If you say so… then okay, I'll do it. But don't forget your own task at all times."
"If it's your way of talking then… Don't push myself too hard?" Seraphina's smile was soft, touched by his concern.
"Yes."
"I got it." Her words were a promise, but her eyes sparkled with a challenge.
"Then, my lady, can you please put off from getting dressed for now? No matter how warm this room is, it's still not enough to calm these desires of mine."
