Even with Narissa on her side Aliana was still outnumbered, yes, her chances had improved by a lot but it still didn't guarantee her victory.

This was because a number of elite venators still remained on Genesis' side. She could already tell that it would be a long arduous battle, but she didn't have the time for a drawn out fight. 

She needed to get back to the clan as soon as possible. 

All around them Venators began to charge their enigmas, Aliana felt Sarah's wind currents already beginning to surround her while Jane already had her black dagger out. 

In front of them a snake made out of ice was circling itself around a man while another had a gleaming katana with an ethereal glow in his hand. 

Genesis faced both Aliana and Narissa as the currents around him began to stir, scattering dust all around him, air currents that were far greater than anything Sarah could muster.
