??? - Finally, a worthy candidate is standing in front of me
Tatsuya - Incursio, I have come to get access to your power. Please give me your test so I can pass and get the armor
Incursio - straight to business fine. For you to inherit my power answer me, why do you need it? Your answer has to satisfy me if you wish my power
Tatsuya - Is this all? To answer why I need it. I don't know what he expects me to answer but I will just tell the truth and see how it goes from there
Tatsuya - My answer is that I want to show people that it doesn't matter what quirk you have, even if you are quirkless, what defines you only your soul. Anyone can become a true hero if they put their heart and mind into it. I want to be an even stronger beacon of hope to others and the scariest force to any monster or villain and with your help and experience. I am destined to achieve it.
Incursio - My power for sure will help you achieve this noble goal of yours. However, what is the benefit for me here? I have been stuck in this state for centuries and supposed to help you guys, the descendants of the bastard who killed me, so tell me what is my reason to help you?
Tatsuya - First of all, I don't believe you about the fact that you hate me or my ancestor. If yes, you wouldn't just let anyone use your power at all, so your power which only lets my family use your power means that you probably respect the power which was shown by your slayer. Secondly, when I achieve it, your name will also become more popular, monsters, humans, heroes, villains, everyone once again will remember who is the main guy. Finally, I believe you can observe the world either through the activation key or through the eyes of the host. However, it doesn't matter as you will see how the world changed from the last time you saw it, and your eternal boredom might be a bit more satisfied.
Incursio - You sure know your way around with words. Fine, I agree to let use my power. Show the world who is the strongest, and make them remember my name. Of the one who stands above anyone.
Tatsuya - Okay, it was surprisingly easy, how come I thought that I would have to fight you or something?
Incursio - child, as a soul living here I am a god, even in a thousand years of training you wouldn't be able to even scratch me. The test was supposed to be finished when you were able to touch the activation key without any issues. You see the pressure you felt was supposed to make anyone unworthy of my power submit to it and go mad. You have to be strong enough physically, mentally, and spiritually to get my power and you passed with flying colors. My question is just the part where I learn a bit more about you, that's all. You may have easily conquered the dragon spirit, but believe me I wouldn't be collecting dust if it was that easy.
Tatsuya - fine, so what comes next? What way do I inherit your power?
Incursio - You already did. You can't feel it because in this space only your spirit resides, we have become connected now the stronger our connection grows the stronger your spiritual form will be. Also, you will have to continuously train physically to get stronger and stronger forms of armor. The total is 4, and each one of them is stronger than the one before it. Currently, you should be able to enter the first form of armor for 15 minutes not more than that or your spirit will get injured. For your mind and spirit to become stronger you will have to meditate daily, I will be helping in the process. For physical training, you are already strong enough for now when you receive the passive boost, you will automatically get much stronger in no time. For now child, I will let you go to your parents to celebrate. We will meet again when you go to sleep. Lastly, remember that I will be able to see the whole world through your eyes, as well as hear and feel it and we can talk with each other through your mind, so if you wish to tell me something, just think about it in your mind.
Tatsuya - Fine, thank you very much, Incursio!
Incursio - No problem, kid.
I then opened my eyes and saw myself in the spot where I was before being sent to my mind space by Incursio. I looked around and didn't see my parents. I guess, they expected it to be way longer than just 15 minutes.
I stood up and started walking around the house to find them and tell them the results, which to be honest, I believe they already awaited anyway. As I exited the room, I saw my parents sitting in one of the rooms with the door opened going through what I believe to be an album. I didn't to play a prank or scare them even though I knew that was very much possible for me. My mother will go nuts and even with Incursio, I am afraid that fighting my mother while she is enraged, only one result comes to my mind. IMPOSSIBLE! So, for my safety, I will just casually approach them with the happy news.
Tatsuya - Mom, Dad, I did it! Both of you are standing in front of the current Dragon Hero of Adaptation and Evolution.
Mom - Ahhhhhhh! Darling, our son did it. Yeeaaaah!
Dad - Congratulations, son! We always knew that you would be able to pull this off.
We then hugged each other while mother was crying her eyes out of happiness, we stayed like this until my mother calmed down and now was the time for the discussion.
Dad - Actually! Can you explain how you completed it so fast, we expected that it would a few hours, the worst case scenario a day. However, you outdid yourself and finished everything only in 15 minutes.
Tatsuya - I mean, the pressure we felt from the weapon, is the main part of the test. For you to get through, you need to be strong enough physically and mentally. Then, I met Incursio who asked me about my future goals, dreams, and what I wanna do with this power. After that, he explained what I should be training from now on and develop my powers. For today he said that I am allowed to just enjoy myself.
Mom - Then, let's stop wasting time and go enjoy ourselves
After those words, we went to prepare dinner and enjoy ourselves. We went through the family album and discussed a lot of things from how my parents grew to know each other. My first years of life which to be honest were quite embarrassing. However, for sure after such intense months of training and studying, plus the test obtained Incursio even though way easier than expected, it still brought a considerable amount of stress.
(Time skip: A few hours later)
We celebrated and talked for a few hours and when the time was already approaching midnight, my parents decided to call it off and go to sleep. However, for me, everything was just starting. I will have a long night of training in my mind with Incursio. Let's see what awaits me there.
Incursio - Nice to see you again, kid! Are you ready to begin

Before I could finish Incursio turned around and attacked me with his tail. I barely dodged that, if not I would be probably squashed like a bug.
Tatsuya - Incursio WTF! If I didn't dodge that I would be dead.
Incursio - You have to be ready at any time, kid. The main issue with your ability is that your level of adaptation has to be strong enough to adapt to serious deadly attacks that are coming out from nowhere, only this way you will be able to adapt to any circumstances.
Tatsuya - what about training my mind so that it can keep up better with my body?
Incursio - this is the training. I understand if you expected meditation training or something similar but any skill and improvement you make here in your mind space, all of them will be translated to your physical body. You believed that you were born without any quirk. However, the current world isn't as that quirkless as you think. You guys have something called heavenly restriction. It means that those who are born quirkless receive a significant boost in something else. Obviously, not exactly everyone quirkless has a heavenly restriction, there might be no restriction and the person is just unlucky to be quirkless. But, this is not your case, your heavenly restriction took your quirk but blessed you with a very strong body and mind which have nearly no limits to how strong they can grow. It is perfect for my powers as they require strong physical and mental fortitude.
Tatsuya - wait, wait, wait. Do you want to seriously tell me that I actually could have a quirk and not go through so much struggle and be a hero with a quirk? Are you serious?
Incursio - I understand your emotions, kid. However, remember that all those struggles and challenges you faced, shape who you are today. Imagine yourself even with a very strong quirk, would you have the same level of maturity and wisdom, would you have the same motivation to become stronger, to be a hero, think about it.
Those words hit me in the right spot. I knew that he was right. If not for all those hardships I faced, I would never be even worthy of Incursio that is for sure. I have to be proud of who I am.
Tatsuya - I am sorry for my emotional outburst Incursio, Incursio your words were very surprising to me as information on the heavenly restriction was something I didn't expect at all.
Incursio - It is fine, no worries kid! Now, do you have any questions for me?
Tatsuya - how exactly it works, the heavenly restriction.
Incursio - it works in different ways. The first example is your kind, your quirk would be removed but in return, you will receive a bonus for any other aspect. It can be anything from physical and mental enhancement to being lucky, genius mind in any field, strong analytical skills, etc. The second example is when you get a restriction on one of those abilities and in return receive a strong quirk. For instance, some heroes receive strong quirks but get some kind of disadvantage. It can be a limit of usage on the quirk weak mental or physical powers, and so on. There can be infinite variations of how the universe wants it to be. In addition, the power of the quirk or the bonus received when there is no quirk is not very correlated to what you will get in return. It means in your case that your quirk can be quite average but the bonus you receive is overpowered and the other way around, but the chances that this happens are usually quite small. Lastly, the third example is when heavanly restriction doesn't remove the quirk but limits it in return giving you an additional bonus, and the other way when it restricts your analytical abilities but provides a strong quirk.
Tatsuya - that sure can be overpowered and the other way around it can be completely weak.
Incursio - Usually the universe is giving more powerful combinations but others exist. Now, Let's start training. We will be sparing and doing physical exercises here so that they trigger changes in your mind and soul rather than physical, I will ask one more time. Are you ready?
Tatsuya - Yes!
