I don't usually post reviews this negative, but I was promised heartwarming fluff. Instead I got 80 chapters of the author trying to turn an unrepentant rapist (who also blackmailed and imprisoned their victim because apparently just raping his student wasn't scummy enough) into a loving father figure and a matyr. Meanwhile his victim is borderline demonized for being traumatized and daring not to succumb to Stockholm syndrome. When the rapist finally dies he gets to act like he's making some kind of heroic sacrifice, and his victim is so thoroughly gaslit at that point that she actually apologizes. If his remorse was remotely genuine he would've offered to let him kill him immediately after the children were born. Don't get me wrong. I love redemption stories. But this is 100% not a redemption story. A rapist wanting their kids to like them doesn't mean they've grown as a person. This guy starts and ends the story as a total piece of shit. And frankly every character who knows what he did and still acts like it was remotely forgivable is also a piece of shit.
I don't know what to say. But I don't really like your MC, who is too childish. Oh! I forgot that he has been a vegetative since elementary school!! Haha. And I didn't know if Indians like to make Chinese fanfiction... aren't you guys enemies?
This story so far is so sweet that it brightens my day. Makes me wish I could live as Jue and experience those days too. No degeneracy but pure goodness.
