Chương 6: Calm before Ambush?
Once inside the room 006, the door behind them automatically closed as the group found themselves inside a huge room with two doors. The first door on the left has a plaque with number 007 on it while the door on the right is blank that leads to a small bedroom.
Hans opened the blank door and glanced inside before saying to the girls. "I'll search through this room" after saying that, he entered and left the door open as he rummaged through the drawers. Lily who took a glance at the other locked door before following Hans inside with his search.
"Wait for me, I'll go with you"
Observing the room, the group went in separate ways, Sylvie and Anna walked around the rooms and searched the drawers within for the key, while Hans and Lily searched inside the bedroom.
Sylvie went ahead towards the locked door, while Anna opened the drawers on the side.
"I found the key" Hans said
After rummaging the drawers for a while, Hans found the key with a tag 007 under the table, and Anna found 15 coins in the drawers outside.
"I also found fifteen coins" Anna said as she showed them the coins in her palms.
"Here, you can take this and open the door" Hans said as he gently handed the key to Sylvie.
Hans then handed the key towards Sylvie as he let her open the door while Hans himself step aside to make way for her.
"Thanks"
Sylvie then took the key and stepped forward as she carefully inserted the key through the lock.
Click~
A click sounded as the door unlockrd then Sylvie pushed the door open.
Creak~
'This is a new place' everyone thought
After opening the door, the group stepped inside and appeared in a fairly small dim lit library. Inside were
rows of shelves filled with non-intractable books, some tables and drawers, unrecognizable paintings, and lastly a couple closets that were seemingly blending with the lavish turquoise coloured patterned wallpaper in the background.
"This library is a bit weird" Anna said after trying to take a book out of the book shelf.
'The books were fixed" Sylvie said after seeing that it wouldn't budge at all after also trying many times to take it out of the bookshelf.
"Anyways, lets get going" Hans said
Like the usual, the group searched the area for coins, items, and lastly the key.
After a while, the group found the key leading to the next room 008. Like earlier Hans once again handed the key to Sylvie as he let her open the door herself. After opening the door of the room 008, the group saw that it was just a couple meter wide, stone walled staircase leading up at least six flours towards the door 009.
"That's a long stairs" Anna said while gazing upward the stairs
This time, it was lily who lead the way as she started climbing first on the stone cold stairs.
"Alright I'll lead the way" Lily said
The three look at each other before looking back up the stairs again, not wanting to be left behind, quickly followed Anna suit.
"Lets go" Hans said as he followed behind Lily up the stairs
Halfway after climbing for a while, the group started to show signs of tiredness, visible tiny droplets of sweats already appeared on their forehead and their pace of climbing got a bit slower.
"Just a little.... Haaah....bit more.....haah" Anna said between slow breaths as she climbs step by step while touching the wall to help her climb.
Haaah...hhuuh.... hahh~
Lily and Sylvie didn't say anything as they climb, but similar to Anna, both girls were also taking some deep breaths as they climb, and also holding the walls to help themselves climb up.
Everyone looked at each other and noticed that they looked somewhat tired, but instead of stopping for rest, the group continued forward albeit slower than before.
Hans, being the least tired of them all, went behind the girls to prevent them from falling back down incase they get too tire and fall backwards.
You see, the benefits of walking behind the girls up stairs is that you can see their long white thighs and if lucky, you might also see what's under their skirts.
The girls who were giving their full attention climbing, didn't notice Hans who was discreetly glancing up their legs.
Unluckily, while climbing the stairs Hans missed a step and fell face first on the stairs, maybe karma for his peeping fetish. Luckily enough, Hans face didn't hit the edge of the stairs and just staying on the same spot and not falling backwards whatsoever.
Ow~
Hans grumbled in pain as he held his bruised forehead. While the girls stopped and looked at the commotion behind them. Anna and Lily looked at him, confused about what just happened, and Sylvie just glanced in Hans eyes while she crossed her arms on her chest.
"What happened" Anna asked in concern
Hans who saw Sylvie was looking at him, averted his gaze before saying "I just slipped a little bit don't worry" after saying that, Hans walked past the girls while still averting his gaze and holding his forehead on his way up.
And Sylvie just keeps looking at his back as Hans continued climbing, the Lily and Anna who were just confused also followed them climb up.
'Oh shit, she's going to kill me' Hans thought while feeling Sylvie's gaze on his back
After a while, the group reached the end of the stairs. On the top, they saw a locked door and a key just laying on the corner beside it.
"Lets rest here first" Anna said as she sat on the floor beside Lily
After seeing the key on the floor, Hans and the three girls sat beside it as they took some rest. After sitting on the floor, Hans took out the water bottle in his inventory and drank a couple of gulps before it was snatched by someone.
"Hey! That was mine" Hans said as he tried to get the water back, but failed to do so.
Han just saw that the girls were passing the bottled water between them, each taking some gulps of water.
'They look so alluring' Hans thought to himself
Hans looked at their thirsty faces and sweaty uniforms that were clinging onto their bodies. After admiring and resting for a while, and feeling that everyone is already good to go, Hans stood up and picked up the key before opening the door.

Creak~
Getting inside the unlocked door of 009, the group found themselves in a long hallway with at least six doors leading to each small bedrooms on left and right sides of the hall.
Ding~
But before they could take a couple of steps inside, a notification sounded from their systems.
[Mission: Survive Ambush]
[Rewards: Crucifix]
[Failure: Death]
The second they finished reading the mission, lights started to flicker and a high- pitched distorted noise was heard behind them, on the room before the staircase below.

(AN: Ambush usually spawns past The Library Door 050. Rarely it can also spawn as early as Door 002. It's best time to hide when Ambush is approaching and get out when it retreats. Repeat the process till Ambush is gone)
