"What!"
"Months ago the Emperor threatened me and now General Rengyotsu!"King Parlu said, eye widened.
"Tsssskkk!"King max grinned looking up ahead"Don't Tell me the scarlet prince frightens you"
"You frighten me even more more!...how could you go this far"
Maxmillian glowered at him but said nothing.
"I know you killed the Emperor's Knight... because he became nosey....what more could make you take an innocent person's life".
"You are quite sharp for an older man"the blonde haired king grinned, clasping his hands together.
"It was just the imperial prince you had to get rid of...how could you!"
King Max's gaze hardened then he turned to him.
"It's not something you can walk away anytime you want to!...you Played your part, you are guilty".
"You!...have no authority over me!"King Parlu snapped."All I did was teach him necromancy I didn't go further than that .....ohh!"
The king paused and rolled his eyes "how could I have easily been fooled by you...everyone knows Leblos is my bloodline gift, they are all coming after me".
King Maxmillian abruptly stood to his feet and drew closer to him before hitting an index finger to his chest, leaning even closer in his face.
"Then cover your tracks wisely, every one knows it's your bloodline gift, one you never utilized,if there is no evidence of that...make one!...Of a truth Leblos is your bloodline gift but it was originally mastered by sorcerers and you can only control it because of your sorcerer ancestry,... blantly speaking any powerful sorcerer taught by you can acquire that ability"
King Parlu grabbed his hand, throwing it off him,his brows furrowed.
"About all these I will hold my tongue but don't involve me any longer...Delvin's fate is in the hands of the fates not a child,it always had been".
The king turned to leave but paused when he heard king max say.
"You have played your part...I have no use for you"
King Parlu balled a fist grinding his teeth furiously, every part of him regretting his actions.
Three years ago,the king of Urah had approach him with news of the prophecy and he had sneaked into Anthagord's harbour to see for himself.
Back then,he had thought by killing the imperial prince could prevent the calamity foretold against Delvin, thought it was his duty as king to prevent it but his family and the peace he shared with them was of greater importance, his peace of mind which was slowly being taken away from him.
If he was discovered he was beyond certain he would not see the light of the next day and each time the sorcerer used Leblos,he would be the first suspect in mind.
He exhaled sharply before storming out of the bedchamber, slamming the door behind him.
Dark watched a king in deep thought stare at the floor for a long time while fondling with his beards.
"How could he be so brazen"he muttered to himself."So weak".
"The Emperor has stepped out of his bed chamber for the first time in a long time... Prince Marcus just informed me he is by the bronze statues of his Knight now in the imperial garden...it's rumoured he spends his days indoors
A smile formed on the King's face as he rose to his feet.
"Then it's time to pay a visit to my dear friend".
*********************************
After Ren left Tyran sat dizzy staring into space for a while, trying to stop himself from dozing off.
He didn't want sleep now, what he wanted was more liquor, his favorite which the arrogant general had wasted.
He tried ordering for more via telepathy but no one replied after having heard him say'liqour', pretending not to have gotten his message.
His desire to have it compelled him to stand and approach his storage room.
Tyran got in,staggering into a small space in the storage room where they had been kept.
All his jars were gone, not even a trace of liquor was left.
He shook his head and strained through his blurry eyesight staggering as he tried to prevent himself from falling.
A servant walked in and their eyes locked.
He was a demon in his teenage years with unkept hair and hazel brown eyes in haggard clothes.
He bowed and hastily turned to go already knowing what he would demand next.
"You there!bring me more liquor, order times two of what was previously here".
The servant turned,his hands trembling.
"Your majesty General Ren would kill anyone who brings liquor in here".
"You will do as I have commanded you or I will have your head!".
The servant dropped to her feet lowering his head.
"Seeing even if I disobey or not, death awaits me either...If it be your wish your majesty to kill me then so be it...I am but a servant, you own my life...I would rather go against his Majesty wishes this time and be killed my thee".
Tyran's brows furrowed with eyes widened in rage.
He touched his side where is sword always sat in it's scabbard then realized he was still in his bed clothes.
Tyran abruptly turned the other way and clenched his jaw, panting from the rage he felt.
He didn't know who he was angry at or why,and though what Ren did displeased him,a part of him was gladened by his actions.
He exhaled deeply before staring at the general from above his shoulders, his eyes glistening in fury.
"Get out... before I change my mind".
The servant got to his feet and fled his presence leaving Tyran alone to his thoughts.
He walked over to the wall and leaning on it sank to the floor sobbing as his mind raced through an avalanche of conflicting thoughts.
Tyran fell asleep moments later and awoke to a sunset sky through the window.
He got to his feet and wiped his swollen eyes with his hands.
Having sobered up a bit thanks to his short sleep Tyran could now see clearly.
He reappeared before Gerald's statue in the imperial field,a gift from King Maxmillian to him at the knight's funeral with his hands clasped behind his back.
It was a statue of the Knight that had perfectly captured his youthful features, elegance and bravery.
The statue stood tall, four times the size of a man or a demon in stable form looking up ahead with hands in the process of pulling out a sword from its sheath.
The more he watched it the more pain he felt but he did not want to stop,he missed him.
Moments later he sensed King max behind him who had just appeared.
The king walked to towards him and bowed when he reached where he stood.
"Your majesty...does my feelings not bother you at all?
"What do you mean?"Tyran asked without taking his eyes off the statue.
King Maxmillian looked sincere.
"Haven't seen you in months...I missed you".
"You have your woman breasts by your side wherein you find comfort...yet you still long to see me".
"I was worried about you"The king said placing a hand on his shoulder.
"I know your heart is broken...it breaks me... please be strong".
Tyran turned to him then returned his gaze back to the statue.
"He was family, his father was to mine as well...say Max,what can ye do to calm the tumoil in my heart, your words won't help".
"Then how about a_ woman's comfort".King Maxmillian suggested half heartedly partly terrified of what the Emperor's response would me as such suggestion had upset him last time.
Tyran turned to face him with the look of interest in his eyes.
"A harem?".Tyran raised a brow.
The king nodded.
"Then bring the the best and fairest of the land... tonight"the Emperor said before walking away.
King max bowed behind him, flashing a malicious grin.
"Yes your majesty"
