Chương 1: Nightmare

"Fuck! This is not happening again" I muttered getting out of bed heading to the kitchen for a glass of water having just woken up screaming from a nightmare. Running my fingers through my hair while taking deep breathes, I tried to recall what could have triggered it again. Having this particular nightmare is common but I had not had it in quite a while and thus the thought it was over. Knowing I won't be going back to bed anytime soon I dug out my eBook to pass time. I must have fallen asleep because next thing I knew an idiot was banging on my door on the verge in knocking it down. " Coming" I yelled leaving the sofa only to find Kay on the other side of the door. What the hell Kay?! I cursed walking to my room, hi to you too, he called after me while locking the door behind him. When I got to my room I checked the clock and cursed him when I saw it was just ten in the morning. I brushed my teeth and went to prepare coffee; what's up babe? Kay greeted when I entered the sitting room. The roof a-hole, I replied taking a seat. He chuckled before replying someone's in a good mood , I plastered a fake smile on my face and answered very good. Noting the rude behaviour due to my terrible night coupled with waking up early that I was taking it out on my best friend had me backtracking and apologising sorry hun, I just had a terrible night I told Kay. His face fell and he cupped my face, nightmares again? He asked gently, no I lied smoothly my eBook kept me up last night. He wasn't convinced but let it go.
