Chương 72: A NEW MEMORY-DREAM SESSION.

***On Planet Gieă, In the Outskirts of the Continent 'Eclipse of the Oceans', In a small house on top of a lonely and silent hill.

The hollow beauty of Sunset flies by with the hours as the orange of the sky slowly gives space for the cresent moon and the dazzling stars. Once again, it's a pretty and bright night. The night comes with its natural quiet yet choir of noises as the overlapping sounds from nature becomes much louder and clearer.

In loose robes, Navi tucks himself neatly under his covers and into his bed right after a very cold shower. His Claymore sword rests by the side of his bed and he had made sure to re-enforce the locks on his door and windows just in-case 'something' goes off.

After fighting hard every night for years not to sleep, trying to sleep begun to feel a little weird for Navi. Closing his eyes, he breaths stealthily as he soon remembers that sleeping isn't something you do but rather, it's something that just happens.

The seconds flows by and the minutes ticks by. Soon, his mind completely settles and he lets his body and mind fall completely into the comfortable yet not too familiar embrace of sleep.

His breath settles and the bedcovers silently heaves up and down in coordination to his own rhythm.

Hours passes by without mulch happening and then all of a suddenly,..

*HIÇTH!*.. Navi's breath hangs for a moment and his body shifts uncomfortably under the covers with cold sweat profusely leaking through his pores and gathering as droplets on his pals skin. You could feel his discomfort and this 'unfortunately' signifies that its starting again, his dreams or rather,.. his memories.

***In Navi's Subconscious..

Navi finds himself once more in a completely unfamiliar atmosphere as he once again views everything from a third person's perspective without a real feel of his body.

The familiar torturous pains assaults heavily on his mind, the glimpses of countless blurry scenes flashes by with each one casting fury on his senses as the pains becomes more and more unbearable.Each passing second made the torture hit a little deeper on him and this is made known by the tiny and shaky whimpers from his throat yet, the next high immediately hits him,.. the emotions!.

A crazy whirlwind of emotions ranging from intense joy to intense sadness, from love to sudden hate, from excitement to sharp depression, from emptiness to pained fulfillment, from rage to calm, from pity to ruthlessness from one high to another low, from one low to a greater high, from low to lower, from high to higher.. -from torture to torment!.

Wild Emotions he couldn't understand assaults Navi mind crazily as it forces his non-existent body down to its knees with a sharp cry of pain as his mind twists in pure agony. His body trembles as his throat strains as the waves of emotions crash into him while forcing him to feel joy, hate, anger, depression, emptiness, pity, ruthlessness and other emotions he couldn't even name all at the same time!.

Navi feels his palms press against the rocky floor as thousands of flashes of blurry scenes swirls all around him endlessly yet somewhere in the back of his agony filled mind he is able to recognise that he is currently on top of a massive mountain with clouds all over.

He had barely fully comprehended this fact when the levels of pain assaulting his mind and probably his soul suddenly doubles while pushing him further at the ground as his body shivers in pain with breathing becoming even more difficult.

Navi's body is shaking and his mind is shivering from pains he couldn't even begin to comprehend. His mind is torn into terrifying wave of wild emotions and his vision is clouded by blurry memory-scenes that fuels raging emotions with each passing one.

He couldn't think, he couldn't even breath but then he heard a whisper that makes him tremble from head to toe with somethingother than describable pain..

'You could have saved her!..'.

The world seemed to pause from a second as a sudden wave of guilt assaults Navi's mind, the only difference this time is that he could understand a bit of this heavy emotion this time.

Navi trembles softly but he isn't given rest a another voice talks but this time about something he cannot understand, then another, then another, then tens, then hundreds, then thousands!!!.

"KILL HER!!!.. KILL HER!!!!@!!@..

"You are nothing but a tool!!, a rare find but still a..

"You are the devil but I created and put you down so doesn't that make me..

"IKITA SHI, YOU TRULY LIVE UP TO YOUR NAME!!..

"WHY?!. Um, tell me why?? WHY??!!! WHY??.. WHY???!!!!!..

Navi turns and twists in pain as the world seemed to be crashing down on him, pushing him to limits he cannot bear.

"Please..", A desperate whisper of pleading escapes Navi's throat alongside a choked groan as he tries to look up to the sky with his entire body shaking.

The pain never seized, time becomes lost in the mixed swamp of emotions in his head as he wails in agony. Soon, though not soon enough.. the whispers of destruction slowly quiets down while leaving only one voice that slowly becomes louder and calmer.

One blurry scene slowly magnifies, filling his senses to become more vivid and then with the memory of intense pain still running powerfully through his veins, Navi is thrust directly into a completely new reality.

Navi eyes remains closed as he stays on the ground, breathing heavily with his mind barely recovering from the waves he has been put through but his mind stays numb and scarred from the torment.

Breathing feels like a gift in his numb pains and he could do nothing for now but lie still with his back against a cold surface for about a minute. And then slowly, he opens his seemingly non-existent eyes.

Light leaks into Navi's sore eyes, blurring his vision for a moment but soon, things becomes clearer as he sees himself sprawled under a distant brown roof with light hanging down. Somebody dressed in a pattern he isn't used to walks over and through him but he isn't much bothered as he slowly rises to his feet to look around and finds well.. himself.

He is currently in a orderly yet crowded place with people in aprons moving quickly behind a U-shaped counter and other people eating and drinking in tables as they hold warm conversations amongst themselves. The entire furniture in the medium space is in a tone of brown woods and the floor of tiled in a shade of dim blue.

Restaurant.

The word Restaurant pops into Navi's head and then without his control, his vision is suddenly drawn to a woman standing in front of the counter.

Navi frowns a bit, not expecting the unusual development. Usually his perspective is drawn directly to his alternate self but now, seeing this woman he feels a more than a little curious as question marks pops in his head..

".. with one medium octopus hot soup to go, One medium Butterfly-tuna smoked pepper fish and one cold Sapporo drink(Japanese).", the background noise soon quiets down a bit as Navi's focus is on the words of the woman before the counter as she places a order.

"..Everything to go?(Japanese).", A chubby and neat man wearing a red apron on a mustard yellow t-shirt behind the counter casually asks a very obvious question as he packs the steaming foods with practiced motion while arranging the packed food in a big bag.

"Yes.. (Japanese)", The woman casually responds without any annoyance in her tone as if used to the routine.

Unable to shift his direction or vision from the back of the woman, Navi calmly studies her back profile.

She's wearing a long brown coat and a pair of black trousers that's barely visible due to the length of her coat, a Golden watch that's most- likely fake lays on left wrist and her brown hair is packed into a messy pony tail with a blue band.

She isn't the tallest or shortest woman out there as she stands at about 5'6 feet high and her slightly wet white canvas shoes somehow complements her entire set-up.

The fashion sense here is completely different from what Navi has seen in the Outskirts but somehow, he could instinctively tell that the woman's clothing is nothing short but average.

Soon, a medium sixed bag is passed over the counter and to the woman who calmly receives the bag with one hand. She puts the bag down by her side then she puts cash bills on the register before the man can even fully say the price of what she had bought as she is obviously a regular.

Quickly counting the money, the man says a practiced 'Thank you, come again' as the woman heads to the door with Navi's perspective trailing behind her.

She hurriedly opens the door with a soft bell jingling above her and then she goes outside. Navi's vision shifts through the door and he follows her till she gets in front of a small grey jeep.

She opens the trunk of the jeep to put in the things she had bought into its space and Navi could faintly hear her talking to someone who seems to be in the car as she jams the boot shut before going to the front door and strapping herself into the driver's seat.

Navi's perspective shifts forward once more as he enters through the frame of the jeep and into the space within.

At that moment, a familiar sensation clicks. A sensation of connecting and feeling everything the other party feels comes to life and Navi finally lays his eyes on Ikita Shi once more but what he sees and feels only confuses him further as his non-existent brows furrows into a frown..

What?..?..?..? ..?..?..?!!.
