"Break damnit!"
I cursed as I repeatedly struck the chest, sending tremors through the ground and propagating loud soundwaves.
Yet, despite all my might, the chest remained adamant; refusing to bend under the pressure.
"Tsk!"
I hissed in annoyance while clutching my throbbing foot.
Why is the chest so tough?
I stared at it with contempt before sighing and plopping to the ground.
"In hindsight, it actually makes sense..."
If Galter wanted to throw away all this then he'd need a sturdy trunk...wait...
"It doesn't make any sense!"
Why would you put your trash in a titanium safe?!
I lampooned inwardly.
I brought my hands to my head and cursed, "Darn it, Droet!"
Whoa! Is it me or is this the first time I've heard you use 'darn'?
My inner voice spoke in an amused tone, an action which didn't help my mood.
It's just you.
SHIFF!
I got up to my feet and paced around, occasionally glancing at the flame; it was getting smaller by the passing minute. The tenebrous darkness of the chasm had started getting bolder, evident in the fact that they were now crawling onto the ground when previously they stuck to the walls.
My gaze remained stuck on the flame before wandering around the chasm and then stopping at the chest.
Am going to be teleporting huh...
"Well...if I overlook how annoyed I am right now, then it wouldn't be wrong to say that I'll need this thing."
I walked over to it and patted it, "An indestructible chest...this will definitely come in handy."
After all, one man's trash is another man's treasure.
Didn't you try using it the last time and it didn't work?
My inner voice voiced out a concern.
Yeah, you're right...
I watched it for a while and then muttered, "Inventory."
[Inventory:] Salvaged School Uniform, Blade of Grass, Rock Pebbles, Twigs, Acolyte Leaves, Glass Bottle, Box of Seasoning, Hunting Knife, Quill-Book, Leather Map, Silver Lining, Veil of the Moon, Inept Lantern, Worthless Bowl, Maladroit Ax, Arch of Error, Featureless Quiver, Empty Goblet, Stone Gallon (4), Thorn of the Profane Cockatrix (57), Midnight Pleasure, Meat Stick (7), Overcooked Meat Stick (13)
"Let's get rid of a couple of junk..."

I manifested the Blade of Grass, Rock Pebbles and Twigs into existence.
Yeah...pretty useless...
Without hesitation I tossed them into the flames.
CRACKLE!
A few moments later, I heard the system speak.
[Blade of Grass has been lost.]
[Twigs has been lost.]
I didn't hear the system's announcement for the Rock Pebbles though. Rock doesn't lose so easily to fire after all.
I turned back to my inventory.

I guess...that's it...
I was somewhat reluctant to part with my School Uniform and the Acolyte Leaves.
With that, I approached the empty chest and touched it.
Store.
A few moments passed by in silence before an outline formed around the chest before it shattered into several sparks.

My eyes brimmed with excitement and smiled, "It worked."
I ignored the insolent name it was given and happily summoned it back, "Open."
Several sparks merged on its outline, manifesting the chest into existence.
Once it formed, I threw open the lid and began to pick up the books and tools, placing them back into the trunk.
I threw away the broken tools; trying to put away any useless items.
Once I was done, I uttered, "Store."
Immediately, the chest disintegrated along with everything in it, storing them successfully.
I pumped my fist, "YES!"

I smiled and looked around. The chasm suddenly looked empty.
The scene brought a familiar feeling to my heart; it was the feeling I had whenever my family was getting ready to relocate.
"Well, am actually relocating as well...so it's understandable..."
Suddenly, I swayed, feeling slightly dizzy.
Huh...?
My gaze inadvertently wandered over to the flame; it was now nearly indistinguishable from a candle flame.
My eyes shrunk to the size of a pin and suddenly my chest tightened.
Calm down! Calm down!
I urged myself as I steadied my breathing. Immediately, I turned to the teleportation circle and ran over to it immediately.
TMP! TMP!
I have to do something and fast!
I stopped in front of the hide and stared at it, pondering for several seconds.
HA...! HA...!
I panted heavily as my mind raced, trying to figure out the next step before remembering.
"Wait...would that work?", I muttered, "Open."
[Equipped Item: Glass Bottle]
I summoned the empty Glass Bottle from my inventory and grasped it.
Once I held it, my eyes shone, "It...it just might work!"
Although the base isn't very big...but it'll fit! I can draw the teleportation circle onto it! The 'passage' text can be written on the sides and as for the crystal...
My gaze wandered over to the magical items.
HA...! HA...!
"One of them...will have to go..."
I crawled over to where I had aligned all over Galter's works.
Before me, all the magical items that Galter Droet had trashed where laid. One of them was going to cease to be a magical object at my judgement.
A cylindrical lamp, a glass cup, a medium-sized bowl, an Egyptian longbow without a string, a hatchet with an arched hilt, and lastly, an empty jet-black quiver.
Each of these items were plain and minimalist in design while also sharing a similar 'passage' text inscription.
I don't have much time I have to be quick!
I picked up the stringless bow, grabbing it by the handle which was coincidentally also the same place where the 'passage' text had been inscribed.
[Equipped Item: Arch of Error]
WHOOSH!
Suddenly from the upper and lower limbs of the bow, a colorless energy both descended and ascended, connecting midway to form a translucent string.
Valuable.
I made a swift judgement and dismissed it promptly.

Immediately, I moved on to the next one, the empty quiver.

Valuable.
I made another prompt decision and dismissed it as well.

I turned over to the basin and glass cup.

Without wasting a moment, I dismissed both.

Leaving behind the Inept Lantern and Maladroit Ax.
I stared at both of them for a moment and then dismissed the Ax.
Wait! What?! Why didn't you store the Lantern?
My inner voice asked in bewilderment.
I chuckled with bathed breath.
Death Darting Eyes.
What? But you can't even use them yet!
Am going to have to learn then!
I responded sharply and without wasting another moment, I picked up the Inept Lantern and spared a moment to watch its flickering flame ignite once more.
Thank you for giving me light.
"Arigato..."
I forced out a smile before reaching for the glowing crystal beneath it and yanking it out.
FWISH!
The flame vanished and at the same moment the system spoke.
[Rock Pebbles has been lost.]
