Chương 250: Rescuing girls
While having dinner, everyone chatted with each other.
" Wow, is that a skill you got by levelling up? " Ron asked as he watched food appearing out of nowhere.
" Yes kinda, " Stella was the one who replied as Alex told her to not tell anyone about his skill for now.
Then Ron turned to Alex as well.
" I'm level 0, " Alex said after Ron asked.
Ron was slightly stunned, he was may be thinking that Alex was at least a little bit stronger to be with Stella, Stephanie and Alina.
He now looked down on Alex in his heart.
" Ah. It's okay. I'll protect you, if something happened, " Ron said with a heroic smile to which his girlfriend quickly nodded.
She was like a maiden in love as she wouldn't even leave Ron's hand.
" Robin, you should eat slightly more, " Ron papmpered his girlfriend, but once in a while his gaze would wander to Miss Drittney, Stella, Stephanie and Alina.
Alex easily understood what this 16 years old asshole was thinking.
Hero syndrome...
May be he was thinking about creating a harem already.
Zombies no longer felt completely unbeatable monsters for Ron who had killed quite a few of them.
Now, that he felt his life was slightly safe while his future was bright, he naturally started thinking about other things.
Alex smiled and then looked at Stephanie.
He ordered her to do something.
" I'll go and bring those students on third floor here, " Stephanie informed Stella.
Hearing Stephanie, Stella naturally looked at Alex.
Seeing him nod, she told Stephanie to do so, " Take Alex with you as well. "
" Wait.. Wait.. It is not safe going outside, to bring them here. What if you get harmed? " Ron quickly came to Stephanie's rescue.
He completely ignored Alex.
" Fuck off, " Stephanie just gave Ron a middle finger and took Alex's hand.
Before anyone could say anything, they were gone from auditorium.
" Miss Stella, will they be safe? " Miss Drittney asked.
" With Alex being with her, there is no way she will be harmed, " Stella said qs she munched on a bite of meat.
" What are you saying? " Miss Drittney was surprised hearing Stella's carefree tone and mention of Alex.
" Who do you think is strongest amongst us? " Stella asked in a small voice.
"... Isn't it you? " Drittney made a surprised expression.
" It was because of Alex that we are alive, " Stella explained, " The best way to survive right now, is by becoming his women like I and Stephanie did. This might sound absurd. But, until you're by his side, you won't be harmed. Don't Overthink. As we stay together you will naturally notice him, " Stella said as she stopped talking and went near Alina.
" Ah? Ah? " Miss Drittney was shocked.
She didn't believe Stella completely, but she felt that there must be some truth to it.
While Alex and Stephanie were gone, everyone fell asleep.
Stella had already changed her bloodstained clothes from before.
But, just one hour later there was a slightly loud sound.
Some people in the auditorium who were on guard were jolted awake, as they wondered what happened.
" The explosion came from the school building's direction... " Ron muttered.
Miss Drittney's eyes involuntarily went to Stella who as well looked at her and shrugged.
As if saying, why are you staring at me bitch?
Meanwhile Alex was on the third floor looking at the Stephanie killing her way through the zombies for him.
He had just now destroyed the staircases leading to the second floor from third floor.
To be exact Stephanie was the one who did that as Alex pointed out specific spots to destroy.
This caused the staircases to become rubbles.
Even though basic structure of staircases was still there, it will be hard for unintelligent zombies to climb up.
" Work fast and leave some for these girls as well, " Alex ordered to Stephanie.
" Yes. Yes, " Stephanie gritted her teeth as she killed one more zombie which was coming from the third floor.
She was still shaken by what she just now had to do.
Alex was besides two other girls in school uniform same as him.
They were none other than the ones that Alex and others had met at the third floor.
Well, there were two annoying boys with them but Alex simply forced Stephanie to kill them and threw their bodies to the zombies to be eaten.
Stephanie who had been helper to this all was preety shaken, as this was the first time she had killed someone.
Alex didn't help Stephanie as he won't be of any use with his weak Constitution and physique.
He also needed Stephanie to man-up for him.
Soon the two girls who had just been brainwashed by Alex as well joined Stephanie.
Stephanie helped them get some starting kills.
" You two are doing well. Stephanie, from today onwards these girls will be under you. Teach them well, " Alex said to Stephanie.
" Uh? For real? Are they my subordinates? " Stephanie became weirdly elated as she heard Alex.
" Yes. They're your subordinates, but also your sisters, do you understand what I'm saying? " Alex said.
" Yes. Yes. Girls follow me, from now on, until you are level 5, you won't rest, " Stephanie said as she next restrained one of the zombies.
One of the girls killed the zombie easily with the baseball bat.
Alex also had some spare baseball bats from storage room at the terrace. So, everyone was armed.
Alex didn't need to do anything, Stephanie had become strong enough just in the day to not get killed by the normal zombies who all just repeated same attack pattern.
In the end, third floor and fourth floor were completely cleared, while zombies swarmed the ground floor because of the sound of fighting.
But, they couldn't find the way to reach to the upper floors.
" It's going to be a problem to go down from here on... " Stephanie sighed as she looked at the zombies which were like black ants in the darkness.
More zombies were being attracted by the seconds.
" Don't think about that, we will just clear the upper floor for now, " Alex said.
After some time, Alex, Stephanie and two girls were in the science lab which was filled with zombies' corpses.
Stephanie looked at them in reminiscence and bragged to the two junior girls.
Those girls now started following Stephanie around while calling her ' Big Sister. '
" You are stealing my women Stephanie, " Alex said with a wry smile.
" No, we still love Alex more than big sister, " The girl said.
" She is right, " The other one added.
" Fufu, don't be sad Alex. Even if I have them, you will still have me for yourself, " Stephanie giggled, but as she was covered in zombie blood her giggle didn't look exactly cute.
Soon, the fourth floor was clear of zombies as well.
Alex then brought three girls to the terrace.
" Why are we here? " Stephanie asked.
" ... For this, " Alex smiled as he opened the storage room.
He went inside and started pulling on something.
" ... " Stephanie looked at him.
" Fuck you Stephanie, stop staring at me and get this shit out of this place, " Alex ordered as he felt embarrassed.
What Stephanie then pulled out was an emergency escape rubber tunnel which was used at the time of fire and stuff.
" Ohh! You're so smart Alex! " One of the girls exclaimed.
" She is right! " Other girl added.
Stephanie as well looked at Alex in appreciation.
" Now use this to pump air in it, " Alex ordered to Stephanie, throwing air pump to her.
" Argh! I hate this stuff, " Stephanie cried but did her work.
Soon, the tunnel was thrown down.
" Let me go first, " Stephanie said.
" Yes of course, " Alex said.
Stephanie then went down.
There were no zombies around luckily.
Alex went down next followed by two girls.
" Let's keep this here. If we need to escape again, it will be useful, " Alex said.
" Ah. Yes, " Stephanie was vigilant as she could feel zombies around.
Alex and others circled around the school outyard and soon reached the place where the military vechile had crashed.
Alex entered inside and checked.
" Can you drive it? " Stephanie asked.
" It is in perfect situation, " Alex said.
" As expected of a military vechile, " One of the girls said.
" She is right, " Other girl added.
Alex got out of the car and looked around.
He then closed the door to the school campus.
" Kill zombies in our way in one shot or slice, " Alex said to Stephanie.
One of the girls picked up Alex on her back and everyone started approaching the auditorium.
Their trip wasn't quick, as Stephanie had to turn back and kill zombies if one of them started chasing them.
Because just one of them could bring a horde behind them.
Soon, Alina and Stella appeared from the auditorium and helped Stephanie.
Together everyone easily returned to the auditorium.
Miss Drittney quickly came over to the two girls and checked on them with relieved and happy expression.
She didn't know that there were actually supposed to be 4 students, so she didn't blame Alex and Stephanie.
Ron also came and asked Stephanie for her well being, but Stephanie by now had understood his intentions.
So, she snorted and ignored him.
Ron's girlfriend also didn't like his simping attitude, as she glared at him and Stephanie.
But, Stephanie ignored everyone. Only Alex was in her eyes.
Alex was exhausted now, so he pulled Stella away with him to sleep.
" You all, at least one of you has to keep watch, " Alex said so and fell asleep in Stella's arms.
Ron was stunned, " W-Why is he sleeping with Miss Stella? "
" Shush! Don't make noise. I'll kill you, if you wake him up, " Stephanie glared at Ron who was feeling as if he was being ntred.
Alex without any care for the world slept till the morning, during the night girls kept watch so that other students or zombies won't do something that won't be funny.
In the morning, Alex woke up in the arms of now asleep Stella.
Her boobs were very comfortable cushions so Alex didn't feel any discomfort through the night.
" You're awake, " Alina who was on guard said.
" Ah, yes... Did you sleep well sis? " Alex asked.
" Hmph! " Alina pouted and looked away.
She acted as if she was not happy with Alex's frivolous attitude with other girls.
Alex for now ignored her cute fake behavior and went to wash up.
By the time he returned, everyone except one of the two girls were awake.
Stephanie and Alina were glaring at each other.
But, as soon as Alex came they stopped.
" Alex! You helped her become level 15. You need to help me as well! " Alina said in quottish way.
" Of course. I will be happy if you grew stronger. I don't want you to get hurt after all... " Alex gently said.
" I-I see... " Alina blushed as she held her face acting cute once again.
What a good actress this bitch was, Alex thought.
He smiled at her cute behavior and pinched her cheek.
Situation changes people...
But, Alex didn't believe in that.
Alina was the same one she was before. The bitch who made his life hard.
But, her backbone, her family, her background was gone.
What she now had was Alex, who was surprisingly very reliable.
If Alex wasn't strong right now, this bitch won't give him a second glance.
Alex then asked Stephanie about her Status.

But, now Stephanie had just crossed that pinnacle in one day.
Stella was also level 11.
While Alina was level 8 and other two girls were around level 5.

He knew that she had taken very extensive classes for all types of arts.
Also her stats were very high..
Alex hadn't yet brainwashed her, so Alina might be lying about her stats.
But, he believed that she wasn't.
He had seen her working hard from right besides her.
Whenever her teacher scolded her, she would take it out on Alex.
Whenever she failed, she will take it out on Alex.
So, Alex knew how seriously she took everything.
Thinking about that, Alex's thoughts about making this bitch suffer increased.
But, Alina without knowing that just smiled at Alex sweetly, hoping to charm him and secure a good future for herself.
" Seems you all woke up, " Miss Drittney's voice came from one side.
" Yeah. We just did, Good morning, " Stella took her spokeperson role and greeted Miss Drittney.
Miss Drittney smiled and greeted everyone including Alex.
She had stopped ignoring Alex since what Stella told her. Her eyes now peered at Alex as if to discern what was hidden behind those messy silvery white hairs.
Alex just nodded to her, with a harmless smile. Which looked weird with his face half hidden behind his hair.
" I came to invite you to breakfast, " Miss Drittney said.
Alex had given some food to them last night, which should be enough for one more day.
Next everyone came to the place where dining table was set.
Everyone had their breakfast silently. The place was obviously grim except for Ron who was trying to liven up the atmosphere with his lame jokes.
Only his girlfriend laughed on those, obviously she was also forcing herself to.
" So, what are you going to do next? " Ron asked.
He was eating the bread while his cute girlfriend sat besides him.
Stella looked at Alex for a moment, seeing him not say anything.
She decided to tell the plan they had agreed on last night.
" We will clear the zombies in the campus and then we'll leave this place after some time. You people can stay here safely, " Stella said.
" Why don't we wait for military to come save us? " Another boy asked.
" They most likely won't come back, " Stephanie said.
" How can you say that!? " One of the girls stood up with trembling figures.
" The zombies which came inside the school campus weren't more than few dozens. They must be those who had followed military vechiles. As for the real zombie hordes... They must be attacking concentrated population zones or military camps even now. May be in thousands? Tens of thousands? Or hundreds? Or even millions, " Stella said.
She continued, " Just the population of the Hiesta city near us is one million. Do you even know what one million means? "
As Stella spoke everyone turned silent.
Just small Hiesta city had 1 million population, most of them were infected in just a day.
How many more cities had fallen?
Almost all of them!
" We will wait for the military as well, going out is simply killing oneself right now, but if military doesn't come we will leave by ourselves once we are stronger, " Stella then gently said and ended her breakfast.
" But, we can help as well and grow stronger together, " Ron said.
" Your help will be really appreciated, but you'll have to follow my orders, " Stella gently said.
" We don't mind, " Ron said and his friends nodded.
Alex and everyone then stood up from the table.
Alex had told Stella and others about his plan to arrange a trap inside Cafeteria.
So, Stephanie and Alina took other students with them and went to do arrangements.
As for Stella, she approached Miss Drittney.
" You still have the chance. Don't regret your choice. We're here for some time, so give what I said before a thought, " Stella said and left.
Miss Drittney didn't say anything, as she looked at them leaving.
She knew Stella was asking her to become Alex's women. But, she didn't completely believe what Stella said...
Ron's girlfriend who silently heard Stella made a surprised expression wondering what Stella meant.
She looked at the mysterious Alex who was sitting at one side in auditorium looking bored and uninterested.
