" I thought it broke the skin I guess everything happened so fast...I was scared of loosing you " Tai said helping Sydney put the shirt on while they both put their vests on reloading their guns, Tai only had a half a clip left to her gun while they had a full clip for the UMP-45 and enough shells for the Shotgun.
Tai let the Ak-47 rest on her side pulling out her .40 cal smith and Wesson checking the clip taking the safety off placing it back in its holster, she looked over at all the cases and boxes sighing.
" I guess when the others get here we will figure out how to get this up the shaft or maybe get the elevator working after cleaning it out" Tai said looking over at some bottles of cleaner grabbing two of them nodding her head to two more for Sydney to grab.

" I won't put you down like that evil man did to my other pets, Roo was lucky I helped her escape before he could hurt her " Sydney said petting the black wolflike alien species, she looked around and saw a small office trash can where she put some torn paper inside transferring the six pups that was the length of her finger right now inside and found a large squeegee in the corner that she carries to Tai while holding the trash can in one arm.
Roo purred when it sniffed the air and ran over climbing Sydney's body to look inside the can knowing they are now like her, Tai looked back when she heard some chirping coming from the white can that Sydney carried.
" Tai don't freak out and don't hurt them they're a part of Roos family now " Sydney said as Roo chirped at the small things climbing on top of the can, Tai peeked inside then pulled back shaking her head.
" no those things will kill us when they're older plus my loved ones that's coming " Tai said grabbing her handgun, Sydney glared at her hiding the can with her body and Tai sighed putting the gun back in her holster pinching the bridge of her nose.
" look we'll have a hard time convincing the others not to shoot will now these things....how sure are you about them not infecting others or killing them " Tai said looking back in the can again finding the things cute like baby kittens or puppies.
" look I grew up down here and I'm 100% sure they won't, you trust me right " Sydney said pouting her lips making Tai smile, she nodded her head yes then walked back into the lab grabbing a satchel that was hanging up with a winter jacket so she grabbed both going back to the hallway handing Sydney the satchel to put the pups inside.
" ok can you climb without hurting them " Tai said helping Her up on top of the elevator while Roo hangs onto the back of her vest, she jumps up pulling herself through the hatch seeing Sydney already climbing the ladder to the next floor so she goes up climbing as well.
