No one could keep their eyes open.
Apparently, it was too strong.
"Might have overdone it a bit," I said.
The light was still kind of blinding but it was subsiding.
"YOU THINK!!!" the goddess grabbed my collar and swayed me back and forth. "The hell was that! Are you sure, you're just a half!? Even I can't do that! Who the hell's your mother!? Tell me!?" Okay so, she assumed I was a god myself?
What!?
Anyway, the sky was still bright.
It was hard to look up but- something was there.
"Where the hell did that dragon come from though?"
And that attack looked awfully familiar.
But I was glad it showed up when it did. Otherwise, my holy plasma ball wouldn't have been enough.
"That's not the problem. Are you even listening to me??" Well, the goddess was kind of just- well, not having a great day.
We'd been traveling for days.
