Chương 75: Day 21 Star Pillar, thanks for the meal

After the last person left, he slipped out with Zhao Ning coming with. he would need someone to drag his body away if things went bad. The last time he took the Star Pillar, he was a lot stronger. The Star Pillar was visible as they moved at high speeds.

*Swirl!* Inside the Flame Vortex Core spun a little in excitement. As if taunting him a bit to take the next step faster. Ye Xinghe shook it away not ready to be burned and ground down into dust.

Connections were stronger than before and he was able to see them visibly connect with himself. As well as see the ones that connect with Liang Yu. The Dark Moon people, An Xueyun, Xia Yuning, and Old Xu by the looks of it.

'At least my Internal Space is spreading pretty quickly. Techlis is just practicing aerial maneuvers inside now.' The Atmosphere spread far and wide making it extremely breathable and sustainable for the weakest of people. "Zhao Ning, I am gonna place in an area to cultivate, you will see something odd but do not freak out."

"Ok, just call me when it gets bad." Zhao Ning was a little tired and want to conserve her energy for whatever happens later. Placed in the Internal Space, she enjoyed the feeling. "That is a very big ball of fire..."

The Flame Vortex Core was as big as the sun to her. Techlis flying above looked tiny. Spoting the newcomer, it flew down to be in front of her. Looking at her quizzically.

As Ye Xinghe made it to the Star Pillar, elsewhere Liang Jian met a grisly encounter. He was left beaten and bloody in a hole as his assailant ran away hearing some people. He would be found in the morning very easily as the attacker wanted.

Liang Jian's eyes did not die out just yet. A small light still burned within him. Slowly, the small traces of lightning circled his limbs and pathways. Keeping him clinging to life. A look of resentment as he stared out unmoving.

Liang Yu the last thing he saw before going out cold. The other members of teh Dark Moon Family picking him up.

Star Pillar-

As soon as Ye Xinghe made it within 5 feet of the star pillar, it reacted the same as before. A pulse of light shot out invading his mind in an instant. His response was to lead it to the Flame Vortex to fight it out as he did before.

"Not leaving you behind this time, need that power!" He roared as the Heart Method was circled fully. The oppressive force wrapping the Star Pillar up. "More qi!"

The Flame Vortex Frost Phoenix pushed out a terrifying amount of Qi. A large bird flying in the Internal Space, circling around the Star pillar to suppress it further. Demonic Star Martial Arts Dantian spun to the left. Absorbing the Star Energy at a rapid pace. Air Beast Martial Arts spun to the right. Absorbing the energy of countless beasts that died and were absorbed by the Star Pillar.

"Kuff!" Ye Xinhe coughed up some blood in response. He did his best to try and move against the effects ravaging his body with the use of Air Frost Body. The Star Pillar released small pulses that sent waves attacking his body . "Thanks for the initial pressure!"

Blue white lines spread out around his body. The runes digging deep into his flesh and bones. Marking better than before with each pass. Zhao Ning just watched with rapt attention. The demon beast Techlis doing the same.

The Star Pillar was attacking him in full force. Trying to keep from getting destroyed. It had a consciousness of its own and could feel a bad outcome with the brush of the Flame Vortex Frost Phoenix.

"The Flame Vortex Core has to breakthrough first!" Feeling the restriction by it, he channeled each of his cultivation techniques and manuals to help the process. The Star Pillar pushing out more energy in response to what it viewed to be an opening.

The star energy continued to hammer away at him. Each strike changing him a little but nowhere as much as it should. Making him weaker and threatening his cultivation rank. Slipping out of his Internal Space back into Real Space, it thought it was free.

"Rah!" Ye Xinghe focused and gave a punch towards the pillar combining his power. The momentum pushing him away just a little back on impact. "Shit!" To much power would alert people if he was not careful.

*Crack!* The Star Pillar had a line running down the center of it. Fresh qi pouring out that he sucked into his Internal Space. The Flame Vortex Core growing in response as it pushed the confines to a breakthrough.

With his Willpower increasing, the pain lessened.

Circulating his Flame Vortex Core he pushed it all towards his legs. His legs lit up with blue and white lines. Muscle almost overexerting but the new ones developing faster. As he took a few steps forward, hands reached out grabbing the Star Pillar.

A beam of light shooting into the air.

"Not.. dying ..to a none moving, inamiate object!" Ye Xinghe cursed under his breath. "You are mine!" Ripples of qi traveled in the area. "Gotta hurry!" The Heart Method picked up someone finally heading to his location.

Feeling his Dantians shatter, he ignored the pain forcefully and shot off back towards the camp. The moment he was close enough, Zhao Ning was removed from his Internal Space with Techlis. Lucky, no one was around as he snuck back into his tent.

Power-

The damaged cultivation pieces turned into a hard like substance that floated around his dantian like before. Circling around as if it was trying to trap the Flame Vortex Core. Slowly energy was produced that slowed his body down some.

The Frost Air Technique was pushed higher. With Zhao Ning watching over with Techlis, he allowed the refinement process to take place. The Rune formation preventing anything from leaking out.

Fire Body was pushed to the limit. His flesh eating up the qi as best it could to prevent the damage from spreading. One qi fought against the invading star energy as the Flame Vortex Core qi latched on to it eat away at the invading force.

"Kukk!" Ye Xinghe's teeth ground against each other as he stifled the pain. Blood blisters appearing over his body as he fought to contain the energy inside. "Don't freak out!" He said to the blinking two.

The Star Pillar was full of so much energy, the Flame Vortex Core was delighted to have it all. His body burned all over then froze. In the blink of an eye, it shattered then reform in two seconds. However, the bones caused Zhao Ning to almost faint on spot.

"Eek!" Steeling herself, she was happy that Techlis looked just as spooked. "He is not dead right?" The Demon Beast just shrugged. "Well.. that is helpful." Seeing the glowing eyes in the sockets, she almost wet herself. "Don't eat me!"

"Calm down." Projecting with the help of the Heart Method, she calmed down immediately. "It will get freakier." The Runic lines were covered up by the forming muscles. "Pay attention to the process."

The Demonic Star Martial Arts Dantian formed up next. The power was stronger than before an intuned with his flesh recovering back. Remnants of the Star Pillar swimming inside the Dantian. Enriching it in an odd way.

The Air Beast Martial Arts Dantian forming back next. An odd language rising inside, he could feel surface thoughts coming from Techlis. It was a new sensation that he welcomed. With such remaining power, he couldn't push everything else just yet.

"Get my bag for me." Startling Zhao Ning, she did it quickly. Inside were pieces of glass and metal. "Should have bought more." These pieces would be infused with Core qi to quickly. In a matter of an hour, they were filled to bursting.

Not counting in the major decrease in the level of techniques, and the fact the Internal Space was spread pretty far already, he sent out his Heart Method. Contacting a few Flame Birds over. With his guidance, eight of them made to him pass the shitty security.

"Hmm?" Techlis cocked his head in surprise. A very human expression.

"Bawk?" The Birds looked at him oddly. Ye Xinghe exuded the feel of a demon beast. His qi giving the same feeling as well. Releasing his qi a little more, the language of Demon Beast was changed into the human tongue. "Human?"

"Yes, but also something more." Xinghe created some qi then froze it into little pieces. "Consumes this, and you can be like him." Pointing to Techlis, the Flame Birds could feel teh power. As well as tell it was tamed in a way recently.

"So amazing." Zhao Ning just blinked. Not having seen anything like this before. Demon Beast Tamers were far in between. Only rich families are willing to raise any. 'No way is he a Commoner like the rumors say. I will have to have my family look into him some. I think he is from Blue Carp town.'

"Best decision to make." Techlis spoke. The Demon Beast was suprised hearing its voice in a full human tongue. "I always have a good meal but training is really hard."

The Demon Beast took in the qi. The chance to become stronger is more important than anything. Red feathers turning blue and white. The power was intense but pleasant. With Techlis and Xinghe showing them the way, it was easy to help the cultivation along.

As this finished up enough, Xinghe focused on his Internal Space and the Flame Vortex Core. Going over its ability.

Prominent, Deity, and Near-Deity abilities could be absorbed into the Flame Vortex core upgrading it.

It could produce powerful energy that can enhance other energy to a higher state. As well as purifying its regular abilities.

Materials, souls, flesh, and even souls can be refined and absorb into an individual placed inside. Long as they can survive of course. Because of the smelting effect upgrade from the Star Pillar, he could remake himself of Dantians stronger than before or convert them into something else.

'To have a Support Soul is so odd, but defintely use to it now.' Ye Xinghe rubs his chin in thought before continueing to think over his abilities. 'I can create what i refined in myself and others if I know enough about it,but man does that take up a lot of qi!'

Flame, Star, Dragon, Beast, Ice, and Air. With Lightning, Demon, and Necromancy Martial Arts not worth the effort with the qi needed. But the clash between the rebels and the royal family should give him the chance to do so.

It was getting quite late. Zhao Ning waited till the coast was clear before sneaking out.

"Now time for some good.. old.. rest.." Ye Xinghe voice droned out as laid down to sleep. "i will give him the Metal pieces later."

Elsehwere-

All that remained where the Star Pillar used to be, was a very deep hole. A few Demon Beasts wandering around at what could have taken the bane of there existence.

A few figures arrived on the scene a few minutes later. Old Xu and a few of the other teachers were attracted by the light and couldn't understand what was going on without taking a closer look at things.

"To think the Star Pillar is gone itself, search the area and see what you can find! Send word to the Academy to go on High Alert!" Old Xu ordered. The others listened to his orders instantly and dispersed. As for him, he looked towards the direction of the camp of the students. 'What could you have possibly done to the Star Pillar? Did you destroy it by chance? If so... why?'

The vice-principal pulled out a letter from his chest. Written by Liang Yu, informing the Star Pillar will disappear soon and the Academy would be in danger. The best chance to make it shine would be soon.
