Olivia POV
**One Week Later
It was a carnival of noise, the boys were over the moon that we were back and Hope clung to me happily cooing at me.
The kitchen made up a lovely welcome home dinner for us, all the places set.
Sat around the table, for the first time in too long, the boys peppered us with questions about our trip.
I didn’t know how to lie to them and left the answers mostly up to Ellis. He could be far more creative with his answers. Leaving out all of the scary or risqué stuff. Leaving only the fun adventure fit for little ears.
“Did you bring me anything?” Ken asked with a smile.
“Of course, that's all he can think about,” Kevin said, laughing along with Ken.
The kids went to bed soon after dinner, falling asleep almost right away from the excitement, leaving us with some alone time.
Everything was wonderfully quiet in the house.
