Chương 25: Cunning.

John remembers all his ambitions. So, he wanted not to give up on his situation. However, circumstances also made him give up. John realized that he would not win against Hermes' strength comparable to Christ's. "I'm sorry Mr. Christ! I'm sorry if I have to die like this," said John, he never thought he had to die so quickly at the hands of the Werewolf. No matter how big his efforts, Hermes can still beat his strength.

"Are you ready to die, bastard vampire?" Hermes asked, he already knew his opponent was helpless.

"You think you can kill me that easily!" John mustered his strength. His anger was fueled when he remembered the memory, his promise to Christ. John held both of Hermes' hands and then suddenly bit Hermes's arm.

"Aargh!" Hermes shrieked in pain. A drop of blood came out of the bite wound. Luckily Hermes rushed to release his stranglehold and John's bite hadn't gotten too deep into his veins. "Fuck you, how dare you bite me!" Hermes said, grimacing.

John was silent, he felt the difference between ordinary human blood and the blood of Hermes, the werewolf pure blood. Very delicious blood when John's taste buds tasted the blood. "Crazy, this blood is really delicious and delicious. No wonder the vampire clan crave werewolf blood!" And in John's body, he underwent changes, though not much.

"I have to feel it one more time!" He said he was determined. He wakes up and is very confident that he can beat Hermes.

The wound on Hermes' hand gradually healed by itself. Little by little the blood that came out of John's bite disappeared. Not only did John experience changes, Hermes' body also felt changes. The vampire virus from the bite entered Hermes' blood and slightly altered the structure of his DNA.

"What is this?" Hermes asked as the veins in his hands appeared on the surface of the epidermis. And hermes chest felt very hot. The change made cold sweat keep coming out and pouring out profusely. "Why does my whole body feel so hot?" Hermes said.

John smiled.

"How? Is my bite starting to react, furry monster?" Ask John. Hermes looked very angry at John.

He couldn't stay still for too long, starting to attack John. But his body continued to sweat profusely. His body became weak after the vampire viruses began to spread into his body. "I will kill you!" The pledge. It moved so fast that John couldn't keep up. The claws from Hermes' attack pierced John's stomach. Then Hermes clawed another part, the arm, then the chest. The werewolf youth seemed to be venting his anger and also accelerated his desire to kill John with the remaining energy in his body.

Hermes didn't have much time to play with blood-sucking creatures like John, too dangerous for him like Matheus said the other day.

"... come on prince listen to my words first, they are very evil creatures. They can betray the King and Queen just because of their power, and I know them ..." Hermes also recalled the story of the death of his parents who were slaughtered by vampire nation. They killed both his parents and the werewolf clan very sadistically. Has no mercy on all his family.

John was overwhelmed by Hermes' attack. Several times the werewolf youth attack hit his body parts. Hermes punched John in the stomach with full force so that he bounced far and hit the wall.

John's face looked very pitiful, and Hermes smothered him with the palm of his hand. "I, the prince of the werewolf clan, will wipe out the vampire nation even if you number in the hundreds or thousands." Hermes whispered. John's body was squeezed between the wall and Hermes. He was helpless, his strength was exhausted.

Hermes raised his hand, then began to swing it and,

"Stop!" Someone shouted from a distance. Hermes turned quickly towards the voice. "Let him go, or this girl will die!" Christ threatened, he had put the nail on Claudia's neck.

"That girl, how come it's with her?" Hermes thought. His chest churned, his anger flared again when those eyes found Claudia was under Christ's threat. "I have to free him!" Hermes said.

"No, you let him go first!"

"Okay, if you don't let go of the boy, I will kill this girl!" Threatening Christ started pressing his nails against Claudia's neck. Blood came out of the wound. "Let go quickly, I won't mess with this threat!"

Hermes hesitated, he wanted to kill the vampire clans one by one. But he must save Claudia who is threatened by Christ. Hermes eyes looked at Claudia, the girl's frightened face looked like she was begging for help. She couldn't do much to get out of Christ's grip. The nails were very sharp and very painful to the skin on her neck.

"I won't let go of this bastard until you let go of that girl!" Hermes said stubbornly.

"Damn it, he's stubborn too!" Christ grumbled very annoyed. Then he smiled as an idea popped into his head. "Shall we negotiate?" said Christ offered.

"Fine, but I want you to let her go first, after a few centimeters she steps, I will let him go!" Hermes said. "How? Are you agree?"

Christ's jaws widened, his eyes bulged and glared at Hermes. He seemed to be played by Hermes, or indeed the young man could not be played by Christ. "Fuck, he can't be trapped. I want to make him a hostage so that the young wolf can fall into my trap!" Christ gritted his teeth. He was very upset with the unpredictable Hermes.

"Alright, I'll let this girl go!" Christ released a stranglehold on Claudia's neck, pushing her so that the girl walked over to Hermes. "Let go, she's already walking towards you!" Christ said, the look in his eyes turning very sly. His grin also seemed to add cunning to his facial expression.

Hermes began to remove his hands from John's face. His consciousness was still a little bit even though he almost died in Hermes' hands. John looked at Christ, apparently he gave a code that he must work on now. John's head nodded slowly, so that no one would suspect. John's eyes then glanced at Claudia, they both stared at each other for a while until the girl looked away from John.

Inside Hermes' body. His DNA structure was perfect as a Werewolf, but currently there was a new DNA that was already composed. Werewolf DNA is coupled in one structure with vampire DNA. And now, he felt much better when the first reaction of the viruses damaged his blood and DNA structure system.

"What is this? Why do I feel like I understand what they want to do with the code! Or maybe .." Before he could finish the sentence that was uttering his mind, he had heard Claudia's scream.

"Damn it, you guys have tricked me!" Hermes shouted when he saw John again catch Claudia who was walking towards him.
