Chương 35: Special Chapter 07 Air Rooke Part 2
"Huh? Where are you going?" Cloud asks. "Hey, this is your house then you'll walk out?"
"Oh, so you want me to be rude? Besides, I'll buy something. You talk to that guy." I said then left.
While I was walking to the nearest grocery, I remember the things I said earlier. To be honest, I'm not attracted to Rackie's sister and I didn't confess, we just simply talked and I joked at her when will be their wedding that is why I'm so guilty. I almost say how I feel for Rackie, yes I like her but not the same feelings as Red, Rackie is the sister I never had. I'm an only child so when I met Rackie, I promised myself that I'll take care of her. Now I'm thinking if she's okay, Red is such a fool. Red should be ready when we have a one-on-one, he has to hear the sermon that he didn't have today.*
"Calling Dr. Air please go to VIP Room 02."
I'm back to the reality of reminiscing when I heard my name. I frowned. "Do they need to page? They can message me." I whisper to myself.
The moment I open the door Shine hugs me wherein I can feel her big tummy. "Cloud, what's wrong with your wife? She always hugs me as if there's no tomorrow."
Cloud didn't bother to glance at me. "Just let her, she's really like that. After she gave birth, I'm sure she'll be your enemy again." He said while busy with his cellphone.
"Shine, can you behave?" I said. "Tss… Shine, watch where you place your hand!"
I heard Cloud chuckle. "Honey, he's still a virgin, don't touch the things that are untouched please, let him stay that way."
"Hey, who's a virgin?" I asked. "Just because you have two children you think you're an expert?"
He looked at me. "What? Aren't you?"
"Fine, I am at least I'm not the same as you!" I said. "Shine, can you chill?" She let go of me that's why I was able to close the door. "What's her problem? Why I'm summoned?"
"Hon, tell him what you felt earlier." Cloud commands his wife.
"My chest aches." Shine pointed to the center of her chest. "That's why I wasn't able to breathe properly when lying down."
I scratched my head. "Whoa! Did you summon me here just because of that? Isn't it that this is your second baby? Therefore, you should know that is your baby blocking the air whenever you lie down on your back. I thought it was serious. Don't call me next time. You should call your OB/Gyne." I said. "I'll go now, I'll go home and I need to rest." I was about to leave when I remember what Red and I talked about. "By the way, Red has something to tell us later. Go to the house later."
"I'll try, I'll be the one to look after Sunny later," Cloud replied without looking at me.
I just nod and left. While I was on my way to Cardio Department, I saw Rackie who had just gotten out of Storm's room, she was sad. That kid is grumpy again. "Rackie!" I called out. She turns to look at me. There it goes again, her smile, which Radiance can't get enough of. "There! Not that frowning looks earlier." I said which made her smile widen wherein I saw her perfect set of teeth.
"Storm isn't feeling well then Dr. Red is making him feel bad." She said.
I chuckled; I can't believe that Red will do that to a kid. "Sorry, you know Red… he's really like that." I reason out. "You're on leave, right?" she nods. "Why are you here?" I asked.
"I looked at Storm's condition, I'm about to leave."
"I see… you have your car?" I just asked because earlier she was racing with the authorities. I didn't expect that an angel that can't stay mad but actually mad when it comes to the road. She shook her head. "You want me to give you a ride? I'm about to leave. I'll just have to go to my department." Oh, there her smile again, anyone will forget who they are for a few minutes.
"Tag me along, I'll give you some files. Can we go to the Neuro first?"
The way she talks is sweet, what does she look when she's mad? She follows me while walking when she was done with the things she has to do in the Neuro Department; I turn to look at her when we enter the Cardio Department.
"Dr. Rackie!" everyone greets her.
"Wow! You greet her while I, your head… you didn't glance at me." I said. Everyone laughs. I saw that she gave a box to the oldest doctor in the department.
While we were walking to the parking, I saw her car, there was a bit of scar on her car but still intact. "Air, I'll go now."
"I thought you didn't bring your car?" I asked.
"I was planning to leave it here but I thought my sister might need it." She replied.
I just nod and look until she left. I remember Sapience, he's good at teasing so I'm sure that there will be entertainment later. "Sapie, go to the house later. Red will tell us something."
"I'll try, Air. I have to finish something." He replied.
When these two have this kind of answer, I knew, they can't come so I don't have the choice but to listen to what Radiance "Fool" Wilton will tell me. Even if I have to slap him with that word, he can't do anything about it and he, himself also admits his foolishness.
I finally got home when I felt frightened because I think it was not a good idea to think how Rackie will get mad, I suddenly remember Windy's story. I suddenly gulp but a smile show on my face when I remember Windy. "How is she?" I whispered. I do see her in the hospital because of her brother Storm but we don't talk often even though I'm the heart physician of her brother which does have a lot of hang-ups in life as if all of the people in the world had rudiment to him. I sigh. "My Windy, when can I talk to you again?"
