Advanced Nurturing High School, the first gym, was almost overcrowded when Fang Li arrived. First-year students were gathered in various places, forming a lively crowd of almost a hundred people. Despite the gym's size, this was significant because the entire first-grade freshman class only had 160 students, and a hundred of them had shown up for the club recruitment event, indicating their interest in extracurricular activities.

Apart from the first-year students, there were also many second and third-grade students present. Fang Li and Ayanokouji Kiyotaka stood slightly behind the crowd, evaluating the situation while reading the pamphlets handed out upon entering the gym. The brochure contained information about the various clubs available in Advanced Nurturing High School.

Ayanokouji Kiyotaka spoke without any emotions like always, "There are many clubs in this school, including traditional ones like the Track and Field Club, Basketball Club, Soccer Club, Tennis Club, as well as Tea Club, Tea Ceremony Club, Literature Club, and Cuisine Clubs."

The girls behind Fang Li and Ayanokouji Kiyotaka also had their opinions. "Not only are there a lot of clubs, but the club levels are also high. There are even players at the national level in some clubs, who are well-known across the country. It's estimated that they will become professional players in the future," Kushida Kikyou said in a sweet and soft voice.

"Everyone also says that the school's club equipment is far superior to that of other schools, and may even be the best in the country," she added. Fang Li wondered if the "everyone" mentioned here referred to students other than those in Class 1-D. Kushida Kikyou's wide range of friends and her ability to make friends seem even more impressive than Fang Li had initially thought.

"Why did you decide to come with us?" Fang Li asked the two girls standing behind himself and Ayanokouji Kiyotaka.

Upon closer inspection, it wasn't just Kushida Kikyou. Horikita Suzune was also there.

And as for Horikita Suzune...

"I think you should correct your statement of 'come with' in regards to me," said Horikita Suzune mercilessly. "I only had an interest in this club recruitment and did not come with you."

This was exactly what Horikita Suzune would say. However, Kushida Kikyou seemed somewhat surprised.

"Unexpectedly, Horikita-san is interested in club activities?" Kushida Kikyou was taken aback. She smiled and added, "I thought Horikita-san wouldn't be able to muster any enthusiasm for collective club activities."

But Horikita Suzune was unfazed by Kushida Kikyou's statement.

"Don't act as though you know me well," Horikita Suzune retorted, with no hint of hesitation. "I haven't even spoken to you until today. But you're right - I have no interest in club activities and only came to see this club recruitment."

In other words, Horikita Suzune wasn't drawn to the club itself, but rather something else.

"Are you interested in that new student who tied with the Student Council President in a race?" Ayanokouji Kiyotaka inquired.

Horikita Suzune responded stubbornly, "Your statement is also incorrect. It was only a tie in the race - this doesn't mean the person can beat the Student Council President. The race was just one of the advantages for the Student Council President, and there is no reason to be confused by the draw of the race."

Horikita Suzune's statement surprised many people. She was known for her disinterest in others and her tendency to live in her own world, but now she had shown a clear bias.

Both Ayanokouji Kiyotaka and Kushida Kikyou started to speak at the same time.

"Horikita-san and the Student President wouldn't happen to be…"

Both of them had generated a guess.

"Do you see that person? Doesn't he look like the one from this morning?"

"He really looks like him…"

Some senior students around them were pointing towards one person.

The man in question seemed oblivious to the attention. He stood there calmly, looking at the stage in front of the gym.

But the people around him were not as calm.

"Why do I feel like the senior students are watching us?"

Ayanokouji Kiyotaka and Kushida Kikyou looked surprised and puzzled.

Horikita Suzune noticed this and silently looked at Fang Li.

Fang Li had gathered a lot of attention, but he seemed unaffected by the observations and surprises of those around him.

"The club recruitment has begun," he said quietly.

As Fang Li spoke, a voice rang out from the stage.

"Dear students, sorry for keeping you waiting."

A beautiful girl with prominent purple hair appeared on the stage. She stepped up to the microphone and let her voice pass through the audience.

"I'm the Student Council's secretary, Tachibana Akane. I'll be the host of this information meeting today, and I hope for your cooperation."

After introducing herself, Tachibana Akane got straight to the point.

"May I ask the representatives of the clubs to come up on stage and begin the club meeting?"

After that, Tachibana Akane stepped down from the stage.

At that moment, a group of individuals walked onto the stage from the backstage and stood in a line. Among them was a strong senior student who wore a judo uniform and a beautiful senior student dressed in a kimono. At the end of the line stood a third-grade senior student who wore the school uniform and had a blank expression on his face.

The other members of the group felt uneasy upon seeing the expressionless senior student, but Horikita Suzune's body slightly shook at the sight of his. Her gaze never left the senior student, getting fixated on him, leaving Ayanokoji Kiyotaka and Kushida Kikyou perplexed.
