My breathing was coming in deep, heavy pants. I was scared. There was not other way to put it. I had just been kidnapped, thrown into the back of a trunk, and was now being taken. How could I not be terrified after having all of that happen to me in just a matter of seconds?

"OK. OK. OK." I breathed the words on heavy sighs, trying to calm myself at least a little. "I need to figure out what is happening here. Who are these people? Why is Michelle working with them? And what do they want with me?"

I was trying to puzzle these things out when another question hit me. One that was arguably more important than any of the others.
