Chương 141: Chapter 141- Talia – Group Birthday (VOLUME 1)

Things were settling down for my brother and sister now. I had been a part of some of the things that had happened this semester, but I hadn't focused on it too much. I was there for the party on Halloween, I was there at the meeting where that man had been attacked, and other steps along the way, but I had not been a major part of it all. 

I wasn't really able to be a part of it. Not with Lex as my guard. He was a lot more strict than my parents were, and he was there with me each and every day that I was on the campus. Trying to make him let me go into the thick of things, in the midst of a plot to destroy us nonhumans, yeah that was difficult. He had actually tried to make me stay home most of the second half of the semester. He said that the campus wasn't safe enough for me.
