Walden Abrams rushed over upon receiving the news; Gordon's body had already become frozen stiff.

Standing in the morgue, he looked at Gordon covered with a white sheet in disbelief.

Different from Alla's last sight, Gordon had now been cleaned and dressed in clean clothes.

He lay there as quietly as if asleep, serene as usual, without any trace of death.

Walden stepped forward, extending a hand to touch Gordon's face but realized he didn't have the courage to do so.

"Mr. Collins..."

He murmured the name, and normally, anyone who disturbed Mr. Collins's sleep would have been beaten up.

Mr. Collins was well-known for his terrible mood upon waking. But now, he lay there peacefully, unresponsive to any disturbance.

Walden felt a sting at the tip of his nose, and his eyes suddenly reddened, "Mr. Collins, didn't we agree to wait until I defeated you?"
