Eric's heart sank, filled with a heavy discomfort, yet his face remained impassive as he interrogated Maggie, "You're going on a blind date? With whom?"

Maggie did not respond to this question but politely turned to Casiano, "Mr. Davies, Alla will be safer staying with you, so I won't take her back with me..."

Casiano, having achieved his goal, nodded at Maggie's neck and then turned his gaze to Alla, "You two talk."

After closing his laptop, Casiano rose and passed by the servant, commanding in a cold voice, "Take good care of the lady's friend."

The term "lady" provided Alla with a sense of security and also won Maggie's approval.

Even before marriage, Casiano regarded Alla as his wife. Alla living here meant that the servants wouldn't look down on her.

Maggie could find no fault with Casiano's thorough consideration.
