Susan's POV

I wasn't done there. I had plans… plans that would ruin Claire forever and make her hate herself.

Yes, I had sent people to abduct her while I was on my way to the mansion. I set everything up and even paid them in advance, making sure that every detail was covered. I knew that when Claire saw Eliam calling me "mother" and Evander as "father," she would go crazy. I figured if she had even a little bit of pride left, she would leave him for good.

And just as I thought, Claire dashed off out of the mansion, as if her world was torn apart, "again".
