Ryu came to the dining room late because he needed to shower to get rid of his drunkenness. And what he thought would be a lively meal turned out to be the opposite when he entered the room.

He thought Laurie didn't waste time.

"Take your seat," his father grumbled as he bent down to his own plate.

He shrugged his shoulders, thinking that there was no way for him to ruin this dinner with the heavy air in the room. He seated himself on the left of his father and stared at the stunned face of Hideaki across the table.

His eyes were glassy as if he was the one who was drunk. He shifted his eyes to his right and saw Mei looked like she was about to cry.
