Percy remained silent, his gaze fixed deeply on Isabel.

His beautiful eyes, the intense light at the bottom of his eyes, made Isabel's heart abruptly stop for a moment. Then a wave of anxiety travelled from her feet all the way up to her brain. Her face flushed, mixed with an overwhelming heat. She soon turned her head quickly away, picking up a handkerchief and lightly brushed at the corners of her lips with an easy smile.

The handkerchief Percy had given her carried a pleasant fragrance. Isabel had experienced many kinds of perfume, but she could not distinguish the light and elegant scent on this one. Nevertheless, the fragrance was pleasant enough for her.

While wiping the corner of her lips, Isabel hesitated to take another sniff. She got the impression that she was familiar with this light fragrance, as if someone from her memory had also brought her the same scent.
