*Hell would be better than this*
These were the words Y/N as she slammed the door of her house behind her. She cursed under her breath, the only thing that was keeping her from screaming at the bastard on the other side of this wall was the noise complaints. After all, it was way past midnight.
"Y/N get back in here!" a rough obviously angry voice said as the door was burst open a second after she was gone. "Do you have any idea what time it is?!"
Y/N could feel the daggers coming from behind her as she walked down the steps to the sidewalk, clenching her fists next to her thighs, her nails digging deep inside her balm. "If you had a damn sense of time then you wouldn't have laid a had on me you bastard!!"
At this point, Y/N had not one care of noise complaints. She realized that this must have been nothing new to her neighbors to hear them scream the hell at each other so late at night. But she was sick of it! she was sick and tired of being mistreated, she was tired of being degraded by her supposed boyfriend. The one that should be keeping her safe has made a habit out of slapping her across the face regularly.
But she has gotten enough of all that, there were no more sacrifices in the name of love. She turned to glare at Julian, her boyfriend for the past 3 years. The multi-color across the left side of her face was enough proof that she was hit hard by this dirty blonde in front of her. He glared at her with the same ocean-blue eyes that were once the reason that you fell for him, they sucked you at the moment that you saw it, and you had no idea that they were going to suck you into hell.
Julian sighed as he ran a hand through his hair. "Let's go back Y/N, okay?" he uttered, the restriction in his voice was clear. "We can talk about this inside." His eyes scanned the couple of people that we're stopping by to witness the sight…and it was such a sight to see.
"I'm not going back, Julian," Y/N said. "Even if I'm going to sleep the night on the floor." and with that, she turned without looking back, the curses that were coming from behind her fell on deaf ears. She has been looking back for enough time in her life.
She walked, and walked, with no destination in mind. All she wanted was to get away. The pain shooting through her thighs and feet finally made her snap back to reality. She sighed in annoyance, raising her head to find where she has wandered off to.
"Where the hell is this place?" Y/N uttered under her breath as she allowed herself to sit on the sidewalk to gain some of her lost strength. It took her a while to know that she was at least an hour walk away from her house, she just kept walking straight since she left. "My phone!" she exclaimed placing a hand over her pocket and felt relief wash over her when she felt the cold metal under her fingers.
She pulled the phone out. "He didn't even bother to call me once," she scoffed before she went to text Quinn, her only best friend. Before she could dial or text, the flashy highlight of her story popped up. "I guess she is out having fun," Y/N said looking at all stories that her friend updated just a few minutes ago remembering that she told her she was going to be at a party.
She hugged her knees to her legs as she felt the tear escape her eyes. *What am I supposed to do now?* she thought. She stayed like that for not even more than a minute before an annoying headlight from a car stopped right in front of her.
She groaned as she struggled to open her eyes, ready to curse whoever this bastard was to interrupt the worse night of her life. But she didn't. The sweet voice that came through the car window as it automatically opened made it impossible.
"Do you want to get in?" said a voice as sweet as honey.
