Chương 1: The Best There Ever Was - FanFic
So, this was my attempt at writing that made me realize that I can't write past a beginning and ending.
The idea behind this was to:
One - declutter the Pokemon world by making it one region with a fixed system to progress that makes more sense then the gym to elite to champion(the games) or from a tournament(the anime). As well as a set underworld that makes sense.
Two - make pokemon more animal then a creature. So, they would have natural growth and a few would have mutations that could come from the method of evolution of the pokemon or just it's birth.
Another thing I wanted was time. For all the other FanFics that I read of Pokemon had the MC taking less then a year to be the best in the region.
So, the story would have gone like this:
Volume 1 - The Early Years
This is where the MC would experience pokemon with out being a trainer in order to build a real friendship with his starter. Ends the night before he turns 16. Age 0 - 16
Chapters: Prologue -> Reborn -> 1 Month -> The Camping Trip -> 1st Birthday -> Snow Day -> Trip out of Town -> 5 Years Old -> First Day of School -> Hobbies -> Fun in the Forest -> 10th Birthday -> The Competition (Part 1) -> The Competition (Part 2) -> Professor's Pupil -> Growlithe -> Daily Routine -> Thoughts of a Mother -> 14th Birthday -> Fire in Snow -> 15th Birthday -> The Egg Hatches -> Task from the Professor -> Completion -> The Summer Sun -> The Professor's Test -> My Son
Volume 2 - The Journey
This volume was to be all about exploring the region and finding all the pokemon that would make his team of 6. Age 16 - 17
Volume 3 - The Climb
After a year of friendship building our MC is now ready to really begin the climb to be the Pokemon Master. Age 17 - 22
Volume 4 - The Peak
The final volume filled with the battles between the top pokemon trainers and the MC.
So that was the rough concept behind this book, read on if you wish to see the character designs as well as some chapters for the story.
