Even though the cities of Freyfall and Azlance were the cities closest to the capital, it was almost impossible for the king to send more than ten thousand troops to help them because he needed to guard the capital, too.

He was even sure that the king of the Xiriel Kingdom would send less than ten thousand troops to the cities of Freyfall and Azlance, so having twenty thousand magical beasts to help Hyzi and the others should be more than enough to kill them.
