Chương 10: BEST ENEMY
Months has passed Shana and Harry seemed to know each other very well, there are also times that they annoy eachother and ended up fighting as non of them is unstoppable.
"Happy Birthday big nose, Make your nose bigger haha" It's august 7, it's Shana's turn to annoy Harry on his birthday she thought. "Yes fake virgin, I will to make you happy when I get down there lol" but why does it feels like she is the one will get annoy by him? "Such a horny and crazy man you are!". "I know" he is laughing inside.
After our class, we had to go at Ron's house to make some laboratory experiment. We just finish our dinner now and about to start again when I felt my phone vibrate "Are you busy?" Harry texted me, I forgot to tell him "Yeah, I'm at Ron's house" I replied then put my phone at the table but after 3 seconds I saw someone calling, it was Harry, I had to cut the call because signal here is too weak so I just texted him "Can't be on call now, why?" I waited for his reply "What are you doing at his house?"
"experiment" I hurriedly reply as I need to look carefully with our bottle. I put my phone at the table behind me and took like 10 minutes on observing the bottle. When I picked up my phone I was surprised that I got 4 missed calls and 6 texts from Harry.
his messages were
"What fu**ing experiment?"
"And with a guy?"
"Are you alone with him?"
"What are you doing? pick up the call!"
"What time are you going home? It's 11pm there!"
"Shana!"
Ohkay so what's happening with him? Am I lost or something? "Sorry I got busy, yeah I'm alone with him and I'm going home now. Ron is just preparing his car to drive me home." I packed my things then went inside Ron's car.
While Ron is driving, I received a call from Harry but my phone has only 5% so I rejected his call, I was typing when he texted me "You don't want to answer". "I only have 5% and I forgot my powerbank." I'm getting a lil bit pissed. "Why Ron is taking you home? Where is your car?" Why does it seem like he's jealous Shana told herself. "On coding, and we are near". Meanwhile, Harry can't focus on his office, he's been thinking of the guy with Shana, what if he do something to her or seduced her? A lot of things going through his mind right now. "Call me as soon as you got home" he can't do anything about the situation right now. Shana did not reply anymore, after few minutes they arrived at her condo. Ron had to go inside her condo for some articles that Shana compiled, she then again received a text from Harry "Don't tell me he is inside your condo now and you are getting laid with that man" Shana got totally pissed off, okay if that's what he want to know then I'll give it to him "Yeah he is here right now, I'll just take a shower first. I'll talk to you when I'm free" then she throw her phone on the couch and went inside her room to get the compilations and hand it to Ron. She thanked Ron for driving her home and for the dinner at their house, when he left she immediately go to the shower room to freshen up.
20 minutes after she is about to go to bed when she remember her phone. She saw 6 missed calls from Harry and 1 text "So you finally gave in" if only Harry is near her, by now his face is already broken. She called him and he answers it right away "Do you want me to punch you?" She asked on a big deep tone "And you have the right to be mad now?" he answered seriously "Why not? You are accusing me on something I didn't do." Here they go again, fighting like cats and dogs, as always. "Then what did you do there? Why just the two of you? And why did he go there inside your apartment?" His voice is now scary "For you information, we were trying to do a laboratory experiment, he is my lab partner so we decided to do it at his house because they have the things we needed and I did not bring my car earlier because it's on coding so him being a gentleman he offered to drive me home just to be sure my safety and while on our way here I decided to give him the compilations that I made so he could differentiate it from his." her voice gets loud and cold "plus, don't doubt on me right now because I won't go on a date without scanning my notes for my midterm exam tomorrow, I will never sacrifice my grade for something not important."
Harry felt guilty, he knows he crossed the line but what can he do? "I'm sorry, I didn't know. Do you want to read your notes now?" he said on a sweet and calm tone "No maybe I ll just do it tomorrow." Her voice is a lil calm now "Is your experiment part of the exam?" he asked nicely "Yeah on my practical exam.". "You did it well, don't worry anymore as you've done your best" his voice is like an angels voice telling her not to worry like everything is going to be fine. But he is always like this whenever they fight, when she is about to explode he will be so calm like he didn't do or say anything "Best? Oh I actually have one" harry didn't get what she meant "Best enemy, you are my best enemy Harry". She said then laughed "Well atleast I'm the best one" harry smiled and don't know why but his heart felt something strange, a feeling that he never felt before. "I wanna punch you on your nose now" she said while laughing.
"Ohh I'm actually having 8days off, I'm thinking of going there. What do you think?" Suddenly his voice becomes serious "Well that would be nice but too sad I might not be able to be with you" she felt sad with that "Why not? I'm going for you not for anyone else" her heart beats fast as he heard him say those words "Well in that case, it won't be possible for now maybe on Summer? I'm a graduating student now so I can't have absents." Harry thought she's right and he also don't want her to skip classes "Okay then, I'll be there on summer." Shana felt excited and happy "Okay, can I sleep now? I really have to get up early tomorrow."
"Yeah sure, take care don't worry much, you can do it and good luck" he smiled "Thanks, good night'' she really is sleepy now "Good night" he said then cut the call.
