Liam was exhausted from attending to guests and some relatives he could not remember ever meeting before. But he was happy to run all the errands because nothing could ruin his good mood. His mother was back home. After many weeks of being at the hospital, she was here. Even though she didn't look very healthy and still had to move around with a wheelchair or with his father carrying her up the stairs, he was happy she was here. At least he would be able to go with her whenever she was going for a check-up at the local hospital.
Thankfully, Harry and Sophie were around to help him out, as well as Lucy. They served drinks, snacks, and washed the dishes while also cleaning up the entire place as the guests began to leave one after the other.
"So you still aren't going to tell us?" Harry asked as the two cleaned the dishes.
"Tell you what?" Even though he knew exactly what his friends were talking about, Liam pretended to be unaware.
Sorry I've been away for a while. I had so many things to do at the same time which was very overwhelming. I'll try to make up for it when I can. Thanks.
