"Uncle, is that person really willing to buy my illustrations?"
Holding the collection of illustrations she had spent an entire month working on, Baili Xia looked at the middle-aged man walking ahead of her, still feeling a bit restless and uncertain.
Why wasn't the potential buyer completing the transaction online; why did he insist on meeting in person?
Especially, after entering the hotel and seeing its lavishly decorated lobby, she felt a sudden hesitation.
"Uncle...." She plucked at He Andong, who was walking ahead of her. There was a flicker of unease in her eyes.
"Uncle, why...why do we have to conduct business in a hotel?"
"The client is here on business, of course he is staying in a hotel," He Andong said, a hint of impatience in his voice.
When the elevator doors opened, he pushed her forward, somewhat rudely shoving her into the elevator.
"Do you want to sell it or not? He's offering such a high price, if you miss this chance, you may not get another,"
For the sake of the money they were about to receive, He Andong was still patient enough to coax her.

Ignoring her, He Andong led her straight to the designated hotel room after the elevator stopped at the second floor.
Seeing the two bodyguards dressed in black suits at the door, Baili Xia felt even more apprehensive, and a strange urge to escape.

In the presidential suite, a man sat on the sofa, but he was not the buyer. The buyer was taking a shower.

At least, the room door was left ajar which somewhat set Baili Xia's mind at ease.
From afar came the faint sound of water spray from the bathroom, which for some reason, filled Baili Xia with apprehension.
She glanced back towards the door, but her uncle was nowhere to be seen.
She had never been in a situation like this before, and she didn't know what to do.
Feeling anxious, she picked up the cup of warm water on the coffee table and before she knew it, she had drained most of it.
Uncle still hadn't come back. Baili Xia was becoming restless and was just about to go look for He Andong when...
The bathroom door suddenly swung open and a figure emerged from inside.
The first time she saw Mu Xiaojiu, Baili Xia was completely stunned.
In her eighteen years of life, she had never seen a man as handsome and good-looking.
He had just taken a shower, only wearing a bathrobe, his wet bangs falling haphazardly on his forehead, giving off a wild appeal.

The man took a step towards her. For some reason, whether it was because he was too handsome, or something else, Baili Xia felt a sudden wave of dizziness.
It was as if... as if she was getting hotter.
As if a fire was blazing in her abdomen, quickly causing a thin layer of sweat to break out on her forehead.
