Chương 138: CALL HIM DAD
"so, how was Tobias as a father and a lover?"
Tobias' father asked Maria while they're eating. He looked at Tobias but his sight stayed on her.
Thomas, was so serious while talking to her! But when it comes to the babies, he was smiling from ear to ear. The seriousness he had right now would not be seen if he was with the twins!
"he is the best, Si---dad.."
Maria replied nervously, her appetite was not good due to his cold prescence! She tried to act accordingly and she forced a smile.
Her face blushed because of that word. She was not used to it and it felt awkward!
She called him Sir when they arrived but the old man told her to call him dad!
She cast a glance at Tobias who was sitting beside her. She wanted him to help her, but it seemed that he was not going to do it!
What's with him?!
"really? So, when will be the wedding?"
He asked again and looked at her seriously.
Maria was not able to answer his question due to Tobias excessive coughing. She looked at Tobias direction abruptly and found him pounding his chest repeatedly.
"are you alright?"
She asked worriedly when she saw his face turned a little bit red. She reached for a glass of water and gave it to him.
Maria was not able to see the exchange of looks Tobias and his father did strangely.
After a while, Tobias recovered. They continued eating quitely. She was silently thanking the heavens that the topic was already forgotten!
She was saved!
When they finished eating, Tobias and his dad went to the old man's study room. She was left and the twins on the living room.
Maria decided to take a tour at Thomas' mansion. She was dumbstruck by it's beauty!
When they first arrived, she can't tell that it was beautiful because the outside surface of the mansion was like the other mansion that you can see in the magazines.
It was a modern type mansion but it was one of the best! But the interior design was the besterest!
You will be amazed when you entered the house. The first thing that will catch your attention is that a giant old body of a tree in the middle.
She was in awe when she saw it! The tree was sculptured to become a staircase! Wow!
The design was old but with a touch of youthfullness. She didn't know that it will be awesome when you combined the two!
The appliances was all high-tech and it was complete!
Maria looked at the wall, there are several portraits hanging in there. There are lots of paintings from a famous painter!
But one portrait, caught her attention. She squinted her eyes to see it clearly.
