Saying so he clicked on the Shadow God Body and what he read in the description made him shocked.
[Shadow God Body: It negates all physical and energy attacks done by the being on the same cultivation level regardless of the elements used or the racial abilities of the opponent. The calculations being made here are according to the top talents or basically the protagonist level entities. As for the normal cultivators the bar lies far above. ]
"It's official, I am a broken character. I expected that it would be kind of overpowered but it's technically beyond that. I thought that it would be mage type powers as while the original Shadow Monarch's body was strong, he was probably only at the Continental Level purely according to his body strength while at least planet level or above due to his summoning abilities."
"But this physique is allowing me to not only be a one man army while simultaneously giving me an army as well. If that's not broken I don't know what is."
"Moreover, this is in comparison with the protagonist's power level, so if my battle power is at Peak of Nascent profound then it would actually be around 7th or 8th of the True Profound Realm."
"Well not that I am complaining or anything and the stronger I am the better and safer it is for me."
Then he looked at the other things in his status
He found that the cultivation technique he had was tailored according to his new body. It would help him absorb the energy faster than even the Heavenly God's Spiritual Veins.
The Energy Cultivation here showed the realm of both his soul and energy reserves. The energy he absorbs from the surroundings would equally used to nourish his soul and also the enhance his qi reserves to the next level.
He also understood that to extract a shadow the energy reserves he needed were reflected on the Energy Cultivation Attribute.
Alex couldn't help but be surprised to see that there were 3 shadows being shown in the shadow realm, since he did not extract any it meant that these were the shadows that came along with the card.
He could feel a connection with these shadows now that he tried to.
Alex decided to summon these shadows. Thinking about it he didn't know how to make them come out of the shadow realm.
He tried to think about it and thought instinctively to mentally command them to come in front of him.
His shadow extended a bit and from it arose three shadow entities.
The first one to come out was a large knight with a light purple glow, jet-black armor covering him from head to toe, a tattered black cape, and a long red hair-like ornament extending out of the back of his helmet.
The second one who came out was a huge humanoid shadow ant with a light purple glow, neon eyes, sharp claws, and smoky wings.
And the last one was a large and muscular shadow warrior with two pairs of black wings on his back, a jagged black armor, blank white eyes, and glowing purple skin with a single horned helmet atop his head. He also carries a massive blade that looks like a centipede, which he wields both like a whip and a sword. Clearly, the strongest among the three.
Alex instantly recognized them as Igris, Beru and Bellion!.
The three shadows came in front of Alex, each one was towering above him. Yet he didn't feel a single ounce of fear. Why you ask, cause he instinctively knew that they won't harm him at all.
The three shadows knelt simultaneously on theirs and spoke
"My liege, We are at your command!"
Alex asked them their names just to be sure whether they were the same beings or some entirely new beings created for him.
"What are your names?"
"My name is Bellion, my lord." Bellion replied, his eyes burning with unwavering loyalty.
"I am Igris, my lord." Igris answered, his voice steady and respectful.
"My name is Beru, my liege " Beru replied, his mandibles clicking softly.
Confirming that they were the same ones he remembered he asked once more " Do you guys have any memories of your past? Since I am not the one who extracted you."
Bellion took the lead and said "No, my Lord. We were born recently due to you awakening your powers. However, all three of us somehow have memories of countless battles, other than that we do not have any memories."
Alex nodded and spoke once more " I see. So, what are your current power levels?"
Bellion replied " I am currently at the peak of the Sovereign Profound Realm, my lord."
Igris spoke "I am at the 8th realm of Sovereign Profound Realm, my lord."
Beru spoke "I am also at the 8th realm of Sovereign Profound Realm, my liege."
Alex was astonished. He didn't expect to get such strong subordinates right away and since they had high regeneration too, they could also fight with higher realm opponents.
Moreover they could also improve their cultivation realm as they did not need his energy to maintain their forms.
Thinking about all this, Alex replied" That's good. We need to figure out where we are. But first I am going to cultivate since I am still a mortal. You guys are going to guard me during this time."
