Chương 84: The Battle Is Not Over Yet

The hooded figures frenziedly chased after the gatherers as the mages in the fortress were ready to deploy and engage in the battle with the enemy.

"Fire!" a voice echoed from the top of the walls as archers fired their rounds.

"Shit!" one of the hooded devils exclaimed as he got too close to the reinforced walls and was unfortunate enough to be in the range of the crossbows.

But the other hooded devils didn't stay still as they replied with a counter-attack of their own.

Tiny spherical projectiles made out solely of mana shot out of their fingertips and clashed with the arrows.

The entrapped hooded devil managed to timely escape under the protection of his comrades.

The next moment, the gate of the fortress opened as mages poured out of it.

Nearly several dozen mages of varying existential levels charged towards over two dozen hooded enemies.
