"Welcome to the reincarnation realm, mortal."
A voice echoed through the dimensional plane. A faceless figure hovered in the void, his bare body covered with swirling solar systems and galaxies that intertwined and moved across him. The voice addressed a mortal soul floating before him.
"So, what now?" the mortal soul asked.
"Hmph, interesting." The faceless figure chuckled, intrigued by the soul's response. "You lack the curiosity to ask where you are?" Normally, mortals, especially those unfamiliar with the supernatural, would ask such a question when faced with a phenomenon like this. But the soul before him seemed indifferent, only interested in what came next.
"Very well, I'll get straight to the point," the faceless figure continued. "You have the chance to reincarnate into any fictional world, chosen randomly based on your luck. You will also get three wishes of your choice." He waved his hand, and a screen appeared in the void. The words "Random World" were displayed at the top, and beneath it, the names of various worlds blurred by, rapidly switching.
"When you're ready, just say 'stop' to see the world where you'll be reincarnated."
The soul silently watched the names flicker by at a blurring speed.
"Stop."
The soul's voice was calm, and the randomizing list halted, revealing the chosen world.
"Hmm, how ironic." the faceless figure mused knowingly as he read the name of the world. He glanced back at the soul. "You will reincarnate into the world of Reality Quest. I assume you're familiar with it?"
'Reality Quest?' The soul thought, surprised. He had discovered the manhwa just before the day he died. He had planned to start reading it the next day considering he took an interest in it's synopsis, but that day turned out to be his last.
"Now, choose your three wishes."
"My first wish is to reincarnate as Gun Park from Lookism." The soul began. "My second wish is to have a perfect body. My third wish is to have perfect understanding, allowing me to instantly comprehend anything, be it studies, fighting, or about my body."
The choice of Gun Park's persona was a strategic one, given the fighting-centric nature of the world. With a perfect body and perfect understanding, he could master any martial art, upgrade his techniques by fusing different techniques into a deadly move, and become an even stronger version of Gun Park.
"Understood. Anything else?" The faceless figure asked, noticing the soul wanted to say more.
"Can I reincarnate as Dowan Ha, but start as a baby? I want my name to be Gun Ha, and I don't want the system."
"Of course. Enjoy your journey." The faceless figure nodded, snapping his fingers. In an instant, the soul vanished from the void.

Inside a classroom during break time, students murmured and laughed, filling the room with noise. At the far back, in the last right seat by the window, the typical protagonist's seat. A student sat, playing a game on his phone. Strangely, no other students were near him, most had gathered at the front, seemingly avoiding him.
This student had slicked black hair, a black hoodie, and jeans. He wore shades that concealed his eyes as he focused on his game. He was Gun Ha.
"This guy is still playing games." One student muttered, glancing towards the back.
"Shh, lower your voice! Do you want to get us killed?" Another student cautioned.
"Hmm, why?"
"Didn't you see his eyes? They're like the devil's."
"The devil?" The first student asked, confused.
"Yeah, I caught a glimpse by chance, and it almost gave me a heart attack." The other replied, visibly shaken.
"Wow, you're really good at that game!" A feminine voice interrupted from the back, making Gun pause his game. He turned his head to see a girl standing next to him, looking impressed. She had long black hair tied back and blue eyes. She wore a school uniform with a short skirt. This was Ahrin Joo.
"Who are you?" Gun asked, puzzled by the unfamiliar girl.
"Oh, I'm Ahrin, from the other class,." She introduced herself with a smile.
Gun simply nodded and returned his attention to his game.
"It's amazing how good you are at this game." Ahrin continued, taking a seat in front of him, facing sideways. "No matter how much I play, I'm still terrible at it." She held up her phone, showing her game screen. From her observation, Gun seemed like a pro, making it look effortless.
"Hmm." Gun glanced at her screen. "You're playing Life Game." He noted.
"Yeah, my friends and I are competing to see who gets the highest score, but I'm in last place." Ahrin admitted, sounding disappointed.
Gun extended his hand towards her, making Ahrin look at him in confusion.
"Want me to get a high score for you?" Gun offered in his usual stoic manner, noticing her struggling expression.
"No, it's okay." Ahrin declined with a polite smile, understanding that Gun could easily help her win. "You're busy with your own game."
"Don't worry about it. I'm already bored of mine. It wouldn't hurt to try something different." Gun replied.
"Oh, if that's the case-" Ahrin started to say, but another voice interrupted.
"Ahrin, what are you doing here?" A girl called out as she approached. She stood next to Gun, eyeing Ahrin curiously.
"Is this your friend?" the girl asked, glancing at Gun.
"No, I was just waiting for you." Ahrin replied, turning to her friend.
"Sorry for the wait." The girl laughed. "The guys have already headed down to eat. Let's go."
"Sorry for bothering you, then." Ahrin said to Gun as she got up to leave with her friend. "By the way..." She stopped at the door and turned back to look at him. "Thanks, Gun." She added with a smile considering his offer to help her, before walking away.
'She knows my name?' Gun thought, surprised that Ahrin knew who he was, given they'd never met before. He shrugged it off and turned his focus back to his game.
"Huh?" Gun then noticed a phone placed on his desk. 'Did she forget it?' It was Ahrin's phone. He figured he should return it. Lost in thought, he didn't notice a student glaring at him from the front of the class. The other students had already left for the cafeteria.
'This bastard.' The student thought irritably as he watched Gun. He had gray hair and eyes, a white long-sleeved dress shirt with unbuttoned cuffs over a blue shirt, and black pants. This was Chulwoo Min.
Chulwoo watched Gun with a glint in his eyes, thinking. 'This is my chance to beat him up.' He had been planning to make Gun his personal gaming shuttle, and beyond that, Gun's presence was making some students more afraid of him than they were of Chulwoo. That was unacceptable, as the one who ruled over the class with violence, he needed to show who was in charge.
"Hey, Gun." Chulwoo called out loudly, catching Gun's attention. He approached, holding out his phone as he stood directly in front of Gun. "Play games for me." Chulwoo said with a taunting smirk, looking down at him.
"No. Beat it." Gun replied flatly, standing up from his seat. He picked up Ahrin's phone, intending to return it to her, completely ignoring Chulwoo.
Chulwoo was momentarily stunned. He hadn't expected such a blunt refusal. He looked up at Gun, realizing just how tall he was, around 188 cm. It was the first time he had gotten a close look at him, and now he felt both surprised and enraged. 'How dare this gaming otaku talk to me like that?'
"You bastard, who the hell do you think you're talking to?" Chulwoo snarled, swinging a right punch aimed at Gun's face. The punch landed cleanly, and Chulwoo smirked inwardly, satisfied. But his expression quickly changed to one of shock when he realized Gun was completely unfazed, staring back at him with a blank expression. Even worse, the punch had knocked off Gun's shades, revealing his eyes.
'W-What the hell is wrong with his eyes?' Chulwoo felt a chill run down his spine. Gun's sclera was pitch black, while his irises and pupils were a stark white. The eerie sight made Chulwoo's hair stand on end, cold sweat forming on his body.
"You-" Chulwoo began, but before he could finish, Gun slammed a fist into his gut, so fast to see. Chulwoo bent forward, his mouth agape as the breath was knocked out of him. He felt like his stomach had been pierced through. The force of the punch sent him flying across the classroom, slamming his back against the green board. Cracks spread behind him from the impact, and a shockwave rippled out before he crumpled to the ground, completely unconscious.
"My shades were expensive, idiot." Gun muttered, bending down and picking up his glasses from the floor.
"Gun?"
"Huh?" Gun, hearing his name being called out looked at who was it that spoke. He saw Ahrin standing at the entrance of the classroom, wide-eyed as she stared at him.
Earlier...
Ahrin was walking down the school hallway with her friend, heading towards the cafeteria.
"Oh, wait." Ahrin suddenly stopped, making her friend pause as well.
"What's wrong?" Her friend asked, confused.
"I left my phone back in the classroom." Ahrin realized. She had forgotten it on the table of Gun. "You go on ahead. I'll catch up." She said, turning back towards the classroom.
Arriving at the entrance, she opened the door. "Gun, I think I forgot my phon-" Ahrin started to say, but her words were cut off as she witnessed Chulwoo punching Gun, knocking his shades off. Startled, she was about to step in and stop Chulwoo when...
'What the-!?' Ahrin gasped, covering her mouth in shock as she saw Chulwoo suddenly get launched across the room, slamming into the wall. The sight was so sudden that she couldn't even process how it happened. She looked back at Gun, who was calmly picking up his shades.
"Gun?" Ahrin called out, her voice shaky. Gun turned to look at her, and she flinched slightly as she got a clear look at his eyes. They were unlike anything she'd ever seen, the sclera was completely black, while the irises and pupils were an intense white, almost glowing with a supernatural light. Despite her initial reaction, she wasn't afraid. In fact, she found herself mesmerized by the mysterious appearance of his eyes. And she couldn't believe it was Gun who had just sent Chulwoo flying as she hadn't even seen him move.
"Oh yeah, Ahrin, right?" Gun said as he approached her, holding his shades in one hand and her phone in the other. "You forgot your phone, I see." He calmly continued as if what he didn't just send Chulwoo flying into a wall.
"O-oh, yeah, thanks." Ahrin stammered, snapping out of her daze as she took her phone back. Despite taking it, her gaze lingered on Gun's face, especially his eyes. 'He's kind of handsome.' She thought, realizing she was seeing his face clearly for the first time without the shades.
"Is there something on my face?" Gun asked, noticing her staring at him.
"N-no." Ahrin replied, blushing as she shook her head. "It's just... your eyes." She half-explained.
"My eyes-" Gun paused, realizing what she meant. 'Oh right, I forgot about them.' He understood why Ahrin was staring, his eyes were unique and definitely drew attention.
"You don't need to worry about it. It's just a side effect from a certain state." Gun said, slipping his shades back on. He referred to it as being in the 'unconscious zone,' though he didn't bother explaining further to Ahrin since it didn't really matter. "Well, I'll be going now." He added, turning to leave.
Ahrin nodded as he exited the classroom. 'Not only is he handsome, but he's also really tall.' she thought, still surprised by his height. He was probably the tallest student she'd seen. She found herself thinking about his appearance once again. 'Snap out of it, Ahrin!' She screamed internally, tapping her cheeks with her hands to shake off the thoughts, her face flushed. It was the first time she had thought of someone like this, making her feel embarrassed. But she couldn't help but take note of Gun's presence.
With that, she turned and left the classroom, heading back towards the cafeteria to join her friends, leaving Chulwoo unconscious and sprawled on the ground.
