The Retribution Knight had conducted a massacre in Anril and had terrifying abilities. If Lin Li was clueless about that, his outcome would probably be unfavorable.

Although the spacetime rift seemed to be rather dangerous, Lin Li still decided to find a chance to find out about it. Otherwise, he wouldn't feel confident about dealing with Rodhart whose powers were at least of the Sanctuary-level.
