Chương 245: Stranger In Stormy Night

Her father and two younger brothers were traveling to the nearer town when they met with an accident. 

When Katherine and her mother got the news they had already lost three family members already.

The next day passed soon with Katie being busy getting the house back in good shape again. She cleaned the house thoroughly and this time secured all the windows and locked them tightly so they wouldn't open again.

She has still two more days to rest since Mrs has given her two days off.

After finishing all the work Katie realized that she does not have many things in the house to eat. She was staying in the Ruthmor mansion for more than two months now so there was nothing to eat for her in the house apart from some food grains.

'I have to make a trip to town.' she mumbled to herself. She walked out in the backyard of the house where she found some barries which she ate to replenish her energy and then left for the town.
