Chương 3: Start of a new journey
Mmm *yawn* well that was a comfortable sleep... huh?! Oh, yeah that's right I died didn't I? That explained the trees in front of my view. Phew thought I was kidnapped there for a second, lucky escape for me~~~~
Right okay maybe not too lucky but hey I don't feel sickly and weak! It was probably due to my mass excitement that I failed to realise that my sight even laying down was slightly taller than before.
'Huh? I don't remember being this tall... oh! That's right I'm not human now am I?' I guess that also means if I try to speak *Growl roar!* Yep kinda what I expected but I'm soo happy for it.
Standing up to my feet I instantly felt the difference of this body to my last. My height is already 3 meters tall and 5 meters long. It's quite the height difference from me looking like a short 10 year old to now. Not only was my height different but I could also feel another limb and my senses had become better.
The other limb I am talking about is the tail of course. It's not much different to another arm and it feels very natural to have so it's not going to be a problem for me. My senses on the other hand may take some time to adjust to. All my senses from eyesight to smell have all been improved. I can do many different things than what I could do as a human.
Looking at my body it's black in colour with an almost rainbow like shine to it when the sun reflects off it. I can't really see my full body but I can at least say that the dorsal plates on my back haven't grown in yet. I assume they will once I grow a bit. As for other features like eye colour I can't tell as of yet so I'll have to find some water to see my reflection.
As I stood here admiring my beautiful black scales I suddenly sensed that something was behind me. Seems like my sense of danger is quite strong.
Turning around I was greeted by a black panther like creature that was no smaller than myself. The creature looked like a panther except that it had a spike sticking out of its shoulder on both sides. They curved upwards and glowed slightly silver. As I stood there looking at the spikes they suddenly glowed brighter.
My sense of danger kicked in and I immediately dodged. Where I was stood was struck by a chain of silver lightning that came from the panther like creature. Realising that I needed to kill it or be killed by it I rushed towards the creature. I was surprised by own speed and so was the spiked panther.
Reaching the spiked panther faster than we both expected I clamped down my mouth onto it's back *CRACK!* was the sound that followed after. When I had bit into the back of it I had managed to snap it's spine in two. Releasing it from my mouth it fell limply onto the floor but it was still alive albeit barely.
Taking pity on the creature although I didn't feel guilty or disgusted with myself I stomped down as hard as I could onto it's neck with my foot. With another audible crack I killed the spiked panther quickly.
Blood spilling onto the ground dyeing the previously green grass bright red I suddenly felt quite hungry. Looking down at the creature I wasn't even disgusted with the idea of eating it raw. I remember reading somewhere that Godzilla sustained itself on radiation and having an omnivorous diet. This meant that I was able to eat both plants and meats. Although personally I will prefer meat.
Sniffing the corpse I licked the blood and... YUM! it was amazing, not wasting anymore time I began to devour the creature not caring for appearances at all. It was the best meal I have ever had! That was probably because most of the food I could eat had to be a somewhat liquid form.
Well enjoying my meal aside I felt a small amount of energy enter my body after I had killed and eaten a stone like thing in the spiked panthers body. I don't know why but I instinctually knew that I need to eat these stones to become stronger.
Now I could also feel that I was close to a breakthrough in power. I don't really know why but I guess it's just instinct. If my assumptions are correct then I believe I will be able to grow faster and stronger by killing and consuming these stone like things.
With that said if I find anything from now on I will try to kill it to the best of my abilities. If I am able to grow stronger and bigger I will be in less danger from others. Not only this I will be able to gain new things like better abilities such as humanoid form just to name one.
Finishing my meal I decided to look for a place to sleep and call home for now. Using my improved sense of hearing I could hear flowing water not too far from here. So what else should I do than head towards the sound?
Moving at a walking pace through the forest I can really appreciate the beauty of this forest. Unlike from earth there are trees with purple, blue, and even silver leaves in a wide range of shapes and sizes. It creates quite a magical scene when the sunlight shines through the leaves making them sparkle.
Making my way through the area I arrive at the flowing water. It's actually a small stream of water that runs through here. I decided I would follow it down stream to hopefully fully find a pond or lake. That is where I will set up my home.
Why? Well large amounts of creatures will use this water source and I will be able to use this water source for many other uses like cleaning my body. I may no longer be human but I still can enjoy cleaning myself and that isn't going to change.
So with all this said I travelled down stream hoping to find my potential new home. I think along the way I'll try to adjust to my new senses and learn how to use them to the best potential that they have.
