Chương 18: First Day (Leon & Spar)

And last, there is the seventh country Lunaris which is located in the middle of all six countries, the academy is also located here, and the ruler of this country is Serlynthia's father this was also one of the reasons why Ethan and Dylan's fathers want them to get close with her.

While the humans were fighting against Asuras, demons started to conquer the border area in all directions slowly and it became easier for them because they had already conqueror the land which is like Antarctica of this world during war.

After seeing the strength of the Heroes, they again stop their conquest, but when the four heroes disappear the remaining two heroes declared twenty years ago that they will not interfere with whatever happens between demons and humans if demons don't try to harm their newly born daughter.

Demons again started to conquer the land, to stop them at least three SS rankers were required to send in all directions to form a border and stop the demons.

"Ok let's start the sparing session fast after you all have to run 10 laps of the ground."

When Serlynthia offered me to be my sparring partner, I wanted to reject it at first – Na just kidding why the hell even I reject the offer when the strongest S ranker wishes to be my sparring partner?

We clashed again and again but there was not a single opening so I could take advantage of it and just like Serlynthia again send me flying backward.

"Let's not waste this chance we both know that your mastery over spear is way above your peers and if you want to advance in it, you can do that by yourself, let's just focus on your element where you still lack mastery." She said and moved toward the control panel of the chamber and reinforced the strength of the barrier.

After just a comeback void spikes launched toward her from the ground got her but before the spikes connected with her they just froze there from Serlynthia's perspective you will see that the spikes were frozen but were just moving so slow that it looked like it was frozen.

"Stop this child play just use your Hollow Voidif you master the high-level spells low-level spells will be easy to master so just use that" she spoke and touched the spikes and all the spikes just disappeared seeing the look on my face she answered, "I just destroy the time of the skill after it was cast, now don't waste time and just attack."

I stood up and moved toward her and when I was in front of her looking into her eyes I spoke "You know I will admit that I somewhat like you and there are some unknown feelings whenever I see you but the way you are asking me it feel like you are treating me like an object which you can use to get rid of Glenwood family." 'Ding ding ding' the bell rang and I started to move toward the exits while Serlynthia still stood there.

When I was about to exit, I turned around and spoke to her "Come back when you truly feel that you want to proceed with it"

Serlynthia looks at Samuel back while he is going out of the chamber and just as he gets out his whole demeanor of Serlynthia changes that of a girl who is crazily in love with someone and if you see clearly, you will see a hint of mischief in her eyes "how cute, darling you are still the same in this 'life' but you still have to wait if you want me.

At Glenwood Mansion

Magnus, Dylan's father walks into the room where he sees most of the trusted workers of the Glenwood family are looking for something, this room is the family treasury of Glenwood.

"you idiot still not found it; I want you all to find it till today or your family will search your wear about tomorrow," Magnus spoke and started to move out of the room when suddenly a servant called him.

"Master I found it." He turned around and saw a servant running toward him while holding a scroll in his hand.

Magnus moves toward that servant snatches the scroll and opens it, in the scroll there are two pieces of paper and when he looks at the first paper, he throws it and looks at the second. "Why did this old man put the picture of the heroes with the contract, he again looked at the paper after that he threw a fireball at the picture and it started to burn.

"Let us see how you will protect your daughter now." He said and moved out of the room while the picture slowly burned.

In the picture there were 3 young men and women who looked around 19-21 ages the left side of the couple was Serlynthia's parents in the middle were the first hero and his wife.

But if Samuel was here, he would be surprised to see that the couple on the right looked like him and Serlynthia.
