Update on the Novel: Good News and Bad News
The Bad News:
Unfortunately, my Content Editor (CE) has decided not to offer a contract for this novel. I won't delve into the specifics, as it's best to maintain a good relationship for future collaborations.
The reason this is disappointing is that most authors, myself included, write to earn an income, particularly for original works. Without a contract, I can't lock chapters, which means there's no direct revenue from this platform. Normally, I would move on and start a new novel under these circumstances.
The Good News:
However, here's the silver lining: I've decided to continue updating this novel, but with a new approach.
Thanks to your incredible support and enthusiasm, it feels like a waste to abandon the project now that we've come this far.
So, the great news is that, since there won't be a contract, there won't be any paywalls. All chapters will be freely available to everyone here.
To sustain this project, I've decided to launch a Patreon. But don't worry – there won't be a hard paywall. It will function similarly to Webnovel's privilege tiers, offering early access to advanced chapters. While advanced chapters will be available to patrons, they will eventually be released to the public, replaced by new advanced chapters.
This novel will also be published on Scribblehub and Royalroad, in addition to Patreon and Webnovel.
