Later, after a bit more cuddling—with me feeling I'd received the best reward for all my effort this past weekend—Liara took a third sip of my blood at my insistence. 

I pointed out that we were already betrothed under the watchful eyes of the Norns so livening our connection with a vampire bond was just kinky. And, although she did slap me for calling the vampire bond kinky, Liara saw the wisdom in my words and finally relented. 

"You're getting more and more comfortable using the engagement card," she sighed. 

"It's only proper to use all the tools at my disposal," I reasoned.
