Layla Serenity POV:
We said our goodbyes and moved our ways.
I can't wait to see the city again, it's been so long.
Yeah, it has been a very long time inside of the dungeon.
I guess I'm the same as Elias.
He said if I should consider him a guy who's hundreds of years old, but what about me…? I'm not any better at all.
My consciousness was transported to the dungeon when it was almost Christmas, the moment my fading consciousness was about to let go, I felt the mental link-up with the Dungeon.
He offered that deal to me.
Either die off. Or let my consciousness rest in the dungeon, my body heal up, and wait until my comrades save me.
And so, I chose the latter. I didn't have time to hesitate and think up scenarios of what could happen.
I simply stayed there, floating in between the floors.
And then, on a boring day like any other, he showed up.
My dark-haired, black-eyed, beautiful prince of mine.
I really enjoyed writing this chapter. I hadn't done this character's perspective in more than 100 chapters, and so, it was worthy and pretty interesting in my opinion, getting to understand Layla's thought process.
