Seeing Eric turn away to leave, I raised my hand to grasp Donald's warm, large hand, and tried to comfort him in a soft voice, "Don't worry too much, everything will be alright."

Donald lowered his gentle eyes to look at me, not saying much, as we both understood each other's concerns and worries in this moment.

He was estimating the casualties of Lycans from the battle, while I was worried about the safety of our people in the Silver Moon Pack.

After listening to Anthony's report on Armstrong and the pack with Donald, I let out a sigh of relief, straightened up, and waved to Elizabeth to sit down like me.

Elizabeth obediently sat beside me, her complexion still somewhat pale. I looked at her and asked with some heartache, "Have your wounds been bandaged? Don't worry; we'll be fine. Donald and I will protect you."

As if my words had struck a chord, Elizabeth's eyes instantly reddened.
