Chương 26: Come to Light
"Hey, I'm Andy. What's your name?"
Rei raised his head. There stood a young man, around the same age of him. He stared at Rei with smiles on his face.
"Do I know you?" Rei asked him, confused. He felt like he never met this person before. But why he felt familiar?
"I don't think so. Or do we?"
He laughed it off then pulled the chair beside his table.
"Let's be friend. I'll sit beside you."
Rei looked around. There were still many vacant desks. Why would he sat beside a gloomy looking guy at the farthest back?
"I don't feel like making friends in here." Rei coldly replied.
"But this is our freshmen year in college. We should start anew." Andy looked too cheerful in this morning class, and Rei already felt annoyed.
"Just leave me alone. I want to enjoy my solitude self." Rei resumed his sleeping, hiding his head on his folded hands.
"Too bad I can't leave you alone." Andy smiled fondly at the sleeping figure before him.

<Host, 18 days remained.>
<Got it. I've made some plans.>
<And the plans would be?>
Rei lied on his stomach on the bed. His hands busied typing on his laptop.
Rei's bedroom was spacious with the only furniture was bed, a lamp table, and wardrobe in the corner. The early morning rays entered from the wide opened windows beside the bed.
After re-reading his typing for awhile, he then pressed enter.
<Hey System, could you hacked some tv station channels? One or two minutes are fine. As long as it broadcasted nationally.>
<I don't know, host. This one never done it before.>
<Let's try? I want this retrieved recording to be broadcasted.>
Rei then explained his plan with the System. They brainstorming the idea for about an hour.
<I think this could work.> The System agree.
<Nice. Then, we shall start it now. Let's go!>
As Rei started to get ready, his door bell rung. He wore his sweater and pants, then jog into the door.
"Coming!" He looked at the monitor to saw who was coming. Seeing it as one of his loyal subordinate, he opened the door.
"Young Boss, are you okay?" His voice filled with concerned just as Rei opened the door.
Rei ushered the man to come into his room, then locked the door. This man looked like in his 30.
"Have you made sure that you're not being followed?"
"Yes, Boss."
"Good. Followed me."
Rei walked deeper into his living room, followed by his subordinate.
"Boss, your apartment is small compared to our place."
'And this one is the most exclusive one in this District.' Rei mused.
"Yes, but this is the safest place for now. The security is modern, and all."
"But your apartment is empty. Not even couches?"
Rei sat on his floor cushion. He put his legs into the warming table. It's quite cold nowadays.
"Why would I need one? I just live in here temporary."
Rei glanced at the subordinate who still standing before him with eyes roaming around.
"Sit down."
The subordinate obediently do as he asked.
"How long have you been following my father?" Rei started. When he first come to this reality, he remembered that this person was the one who always taking care of the owner needs since young. While his father was always busy taking care the mafia business.
"I've been in your father's service since my teen. He saved me and my family."
He smiled sadly.
"Boss is a nice man. He has helped us who were trapped by moneylenders or other mafias. That is why we are loyal to him."
His expression then changed into furious.
"But now, he was deceived! What should we do, Young Boss?"
"Calm down. That's why I called you here, Chen." He called him by his surname.
"How many of our people that escaped that ambushed?"
"We still got around hundreds loyal people, Young Boss."
"Just call me by name is fine." Rei's quite uncomfortable addressed by that title.
"Yes, sir!"
Rei was too lazy to correct him.
"Then, gathered all of our people and make ruckus on TV-N Station."
"Why should we make commotion in the TV-N? And in addition, it is located in District-X." Chen asked in confusion.
"We'll help my father."
Hearing it, even though he was not clear about the relationship between the ruckus and saving the Boss, he obediently followed.
"Aye aye, sir! I'll gather our people and made sure to make a big commotion there!"
"Wait, calm down. Make sure nobody's hurt. Especially the civils."
Chen nodded vigorously.
"And another thing, when you heard police siren, quickly dispersed the scene. Make sure you plan the escape well."
"Noted, sir!"
"We'll do it tomorrow at 7.00 am sharp. We'll meet on the spot."

"Sir, here's today's report about the commotion in HQ yesterday." An officer handed some files towards a man in black suit. A "Police Chief" was written on the wood plank on his desk. His sharp aura was not faded with his aging face.
The police chief glanced at the officer standing in front of him.
"Put it on the desk."

A pop up notice appear on his opened laptop. He checked the email.
Hello, Police Chief,
I am the son of the mafia that you cunningly put into jailed. If you don't want this recording to leak into public, you should publicly held press conference in TV-N Morning news, tomorrow at 7.00 am sharp. Tell the world about the truth, or you'll meet your demise.
He then clicked the attached file and saw the short recording of him and Mafia from District-X doing some businesses. He has made sure to delete this recording, before. But why?
He felt furious.
The Police Chief banged the table hard. The officer that just put the files hurriedly stood straight in fright.
"This little rascal! Let's see who's the one that will meet their demise!"
Meanwhile, a blast email was sent to all of the higher ups. The sender address himself as 'an upright civil' and basically inform the boards that there would be a commotion in TV-N tomorrow at 7.00 am. The perpetrator was a mafia gang, and that they should do something about it.
A laughter was heard from an office in 15th floor of the police HQ building.
"And what is this fella planning now?"
