Cao Lei started his day by… being pulled out of his bed by his Shifu.
Said Shifu then proceeded to bring him inside of his pocket realm. Where the man kept all of his tamed beasts.
He blinked around slowly, taking in his surroundings.
The inside of the pocket realm was like a puzzling maze of colorful story books. Each of the beasts were separated, the same species were put together. Especially carnivorous beasts, those were strictly placed within different enclosures.
"It's a pocket realm," His Shifu began explaining, "to water it down it's like your personal tiny dimension you could carry around in your pocket. Thus its name pocket realm."
Yes, Cao Lei knew exactly what a pocket realm was.
"Follow me. Your elder martial uncle wanted me to see if I had any useful beasts I could harvest."
Harvest?
Cao Lei lifted his brow. Were these cultivators trying to gather money?
Shouldn't their coffers be thick and abundant…?
The cow brush part is real. There was a Youtube video (I don't know why YouTube recommended it to me) of a guy doing some instaltion of the brush. It was giant and had to be screwed into the ground. Apparently the cow likes it. Makes them less stressed out.
