Chương 383: Never together
"Guess who's now an intern?" asked Lulu happily as she walked into Natasha's office as Natasha looked up and smiled at her.
"I guess it's you Lulu" said Natasha with a smile.
"That's right Natasha, you are looking at the company's new intern, I start tomorrow" said Lulu happily.
"That's nice Lulu" said Natasha with a smile.
"I know right, even though I have to start as an assistant to the chief marketer because Dom wants me to have experience" said Lulu.
"That's good, I agree with him, you do need experience" said Natasha.
"Yeah, I know, even though I won't lie that I wanted to take the easy way out of things and start at the top but Dom wouldn't allow it" said Lulu.
"Well you know your brother, he's a man of principle, he will never let you take the easy way out" said Natasha with a smile.
"That he is, but I find it annoying sometimes, there is such a thing called too principled" said Lulu.
"Not in my books there isn't, that's actually what I admire about him" said Natasha.
"Oooh you admire that about him?" asked Lulu with a smile.
"If anything, he is responsible, I will give him that, he has his principles which he sticks by, and he's not one to break the rules… I admire that about him" said Natasha as she smiled.
"You still admire him? Despite what happened?" asked Lulu.
"I'm not petty Lulu, what happened, happened, sure it hurts, but whatever, I still admire those good qualities in him" said Natasha as she smiled.
"You really are mature Natasha, as for me, I could never admire anything in someone that hurt me, not to even talk about still living with my ex" said Lulu.
"Correction Lulu, your brother is not my ex, we were never together, and never will be" said Natasha.
"Oops sorry Natasha, me and my big mouth" said Lulu as she laughed.
"It's fine Lulu, anyway I am happy for you, there is just something thrilling about working" said Natasha as she smiled.
"That I agree with Natasha" said Lulu as she laughed.
"So where is my lovely niece Joy?" asked Lulu with a smile.
"Take a guess" said Natasha.
"Hmm out in the garden with Meggie" said Lulu as she laughed.
"You guessed right" said Natasha as she laughed.
"My baby really loves that chicken, she spends all her afternoons in the garden, I am sure that if she was allowed to, she would carry her bed outside and spend her entire day out there" said Natasha as Lulu laughed.
"At least she now has someone to play with and take care of" said Lulu as she smiled.
"I agree with that" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Alright let me go surprise her" said Lulu as she laughed and Natasha laughed as she stood up and walked out of Natasha's office.

Mandy walked out quickly as she answered her ringing phone and she looked around carefully, making sure that no one was watching her, she could not risk someone accidentally hearing this conversation.
"Hello" said Mandy as she put her phone to her ear.
"Are you alone?" came the voice of a man from the other side of the line.
"Yes I am alone" replied Mandy.
"Are you sure?" asked the man.
"Very sure" replied Mandy as she nodded.
"So have you completed your part of the plan?" asked the man.
"Well no" said Mandy as she did not even get a chance to explain herself as the man cut her off.
"The plan is already set, why would you not have carried it out by now? Or are you having second thoughts?" asked the man in an obviously angry tone.
"No, that's not it my love, you know that I would do anything for you, you know that" said Mandy.
"Then prove it" said the man.
"I will, you know I will, I just can't go with the plan like that, I have to make sure that nothing ties back to me, after all, you forget that I still work here, and you were the one who told me not to resign, so just please be patient" said Mandy.
"Fine, I hear you, but you only have two months" said the man.
"It's more than enough love, I will see you later, hugs and kisses" said Mandy with a smile as she ended the call.
"Mandy, what are you doing back here alone?" asked Chloe as she just happened to be passing by and she heard Mandy's voice.
"Ahh Chloe, I was just answering a call that's all" replied Mandy as she smiled.
"I see" said Chloe.
"But you know the rules Mandy, you are not allowed to answer personal calls on worktime, you should have waited for your break to answer a call" said Chloe.
"Yes, yes of course Chloe, I know, it won't happen again, I assure you" said Mandy with a smile as Chloe smiled.
"Great, and oh Natasha wants you to send her a report on the new crops we just planted in the greenhouse" said Chloe.
"On it, I will send it to her right now" said Mandy as Chloe smiled and she walked away as Mandy sighed in relief, it seemed that Chloe had not heard her, to her good luck.
Mandy put her phone in her pocket as she walked away.

On Saturday.
Nine was busy working on his laptop as he heard his phone beep and he picked it up to see that he had received a text from Lulu as he texted her back.
"What's up Lulu?" asked Nine as Lulu's reply came quickly.
"Nine I need you right now!" replied Lulu as Nine frowned.
"What happened?" asked Nine.
"I can't text it, come over" said Lulu as Nine closed his tabs and his laptop as he stood up and walked out of his room.

"Lulu, what's wrong?" asked Nine as he walked into Lulu's room and he saw her sleeping in bed.
"Nine, Nine, I need your help" said Lulu.
"What is it Lulu, what's wrong? Are you alright?" asked Nine as he used the back of his hand to check her temperature on her forehead.
"I am not fine Nine, not fine at all" said Lulu as she shook her head.
"My favourite shade of lipstick is all gone!!" said Lulu as Nine just looked at her as he could not believe that he thought she was coming down with something.
"Don't look at me like that Nine, it's something very important, that lipstick was super expensive, Grandfather got it for me" said Lulu as she whined and Nine sighed.
"What happened?" asked Nine because knowing Lulu, if she called him here, she wanted someone to sympathize with her.
"I was driving Dom's second car, don't ask why, and I did my makeup and forgot my lipstick on the dashboard and by the time I remembered where I left it, it was all melted and everywhere, it turned into mush, mush I tell you" said Lulu with fake crying.
"There, there Lulu" said Nine as he patted her on her head.
"Nine, my darling brother, the best of all the others" said Lulu with a smile as Nine felt something off here.
"What do you want?" asked Nine as he knew her well.
"Well one of my friends just told me that the same lipstick is being sold at a cheaper price only for today" said Lulu.
"Elaborate Lulu" said Nine.
"Nine, can you please go out and buy the lipstick for me?" asked Lulu with a bright smile.
"Why can't you go yourself?" asked Nine.
"Well I have an assignment due this afternoon and I need to edit it, so I can't go looking for a freaking lipstick" said Lulu.
"Oh so you know that it's a freaking lipstick Lulu" said Nine.
"Yes but I want it, it's my shade and colour and everything" said Lulu.
"Please go for me Nine, pleaseee" said Lulu as she begged.
"Why can't you send Michael or Charlie?" asked Nine.
"They are busy" said Lulu.
"I'm also busy Lulu, seriously" said Nine.
"Oh come on Nine, pwease Nine, pwease, my lovely, lovely best, brother, you know you are the best, I can count on you on anything" said Lulu as Nine sighed, it was right about now that he was regretting pampering her while she was younger.
"Fine…" said Nine.
"Yayyyy, thank you my darling, wonderful brother, I will text you a picture of the lipstick and store address" said Lulu as Nine sighed.
"Yeah, yeah" said Nine.
"You are the best you know that??" asked Lulu with a happily.
"Yeah, yeah I know Lulu" said Nine as he walked out of the room and Lulu giggled in delight.
Nine was slowly starting to regret having Lulu living here, if anything, she was going to be sending him on errands often.
"You are the best Nine hehe!" said Lulu as she giggled, she knew that she could count on him always.
