Chương 283: Miss you
"Alright, now, I really am not one to be emotional, but we will see how far I will go" said Romanoff as he stood in front of them.
"For these past few months, you have learnt well, how to fight, how to shoot people, and also how to have respect for those who deserve respect" said Romanoff as he looked at Vicki in particular as she looked down at the ground.
"I have seen you cry, grow, and fight one another, blah, blah, I wish that I could say some more heartfelt stuff, but no" said Romanoff as if this was boring him.
"Today is the last day that you will be called cadets, because now, you are all agents" said Romanoff.
"This is as far as we can go, I have taught you everything necessary for me to teach you, and the rest, you will learn by experience in the field" said Romanoff.
"And I hope that this experience has shaped you all into better people" said Romanoff.
"Especially you Vicki, because if you keep that attitude of yours, I am sorry to say, but you will not go far at all, I don't make the rules, that's just how life is" said Romanoff.
"I hope that you have learnt your lesson Vicki" said Romanoff as he looked at Vicki and she looked at him.
"Yes Commander, I have" said Vicki as she nodded her head, she learnt her lesson big time.
"Good" said Romanoff.
"I know that we were supposed to end this on the 1st of January, but I am sure that you all have plans with family and friends for the new year, so I decided to end on today, the 31st, you can all go home if you wish, or you can choose to stay around, whatever makes you feel happy" said Romanoff.
"In this last week, you have improved more on your skills, and I hope that you all learnt something valuable from this" said Romanoff.
"Yes Commander" said all of them as they nodded their head in a chorus.
"Good" said Romanoff
"Everyone is going to be off for the new year, and because of that, we will send you your agent details on the 5th of January vis email, is that clear?" asked Romanoff.
"Yes Commander" said all of them in a chorus as they nodded their heads.
"You are all dismissed" said Romanoff.
"You are free to stay around for the new year's eve party or not" said Romanoff.
"Oh, and happy early new year" said Romanoff with a quick smile.
"Thank you Commander" they all said as Romanoff walked away.
"Can you imagine that we are done with our training, it feels so good" said Tatiana as she smiled and she turned to look at all of them as Sofia and Olga laughed.
"It does feel good, doesn't it?" asked Kira as she smiled.
"No more waking up at 4am" said Andrei.
"You are the only one that complains about that, you are a lazy person after all" said Alexi as Andrei scoffed at him.
"No I agree with Andrei waking up at 4am is tiring, my sleeping schedule is messed up" said Tatiana as Rodion laughed.
"You two are one in the same" said Artem as he laughed.
"Hey, we know what we are saying, unlike some people, we like our sleep" said Tatiana.
"Right Andrei?" asked Tatiana as she looked at Andrei and she smiled.
"Yes, right" said Andrei as he agreed.
"Anyway, who is coming to the new year's party tonight? I heard that there would be fireworks" said Nikolai.
"I am staying" said Kira.
"So am I" replied Tatiana and the rest.
"What about you Natasha, are you coming to the party?" asked Kira as she looked at Natasha.
"Ahh well, no, I have been away from home for so long, my baby misses me" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Your baby?" asked Tatiana.
"Yes, I mean my daughter" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Wait, you are a mother??!" asked Olga in surprise as the others were surprised as well.
"Yes, I am" said Natasha as she nodded her head.
"You never told us" said Kira.
"Well you never asked" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Oh my, how old is your daughter?" asked Sofia.
"Well she's 5, and she misses me way too much, so I have to go back, I'm actually leaving this afternoon" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Awww we will miss you Natasha, or at least I know that I will" said Tatiana as she hugged Natasha.
"Hey, I will miss her as well" said Kira as Natasha laughed and Tatiana stopped hugging her.
"Well I will miss you all as well" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Too bad you will miss the party though, we Russians know how to throw a good party" said Rodion.
"I am sure that you do, maybe next time though" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Definitely" said Olga.
"Umm Natasha…" called Vicki as she looked at Natasha and Natasha looked at her.
"Yes Vicki?" asked Natasha as she looked at Vicki.
"I am sorry… I am truly sorry for everything I did to you" said Vicki as Olga was surprised that Vicki would actually apologize for once in her life.
"That's fine Vicki, no hard feelings" said Natasha as she smiled.
"You don't hate me?" asked Vicki.
"Not at all, sometimes we don't know why we do the things that we do" said Natasha.
"And besides, I am guilty as well, I am sorry for hitting you" said Natasha.
"You didn't hit her, you TKOed her" said Sofia as Natasha looked at her and she laughed.
"Yes, I am sorry for knocking you out like that" said Natasha.
"She deserved it though" said Kira.
"Yes, I did, and I don't blame you" said Vicki as she smiled.
"Thank you" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Well I have to go now, my flight leaves soon" said Natasha.
"We will miss you Nati" said Tatiana.
"So will I Tati" said Natasha as she smiled and she walked out of the training grounds.

Natasha sighed, how could she had forgotten that her suitcase was still missing, she had forgotten to ask Vicki about that, and now she was in her room, trying to pack her things, until she remembered her missing suitcase.
Natasha was thinking of what she would do when she suddenly heard a knock on her door.
"Come in" said Natasha as she knew that only one person would usually come to her room.
"What's wrong devochka (girl)" said Romanoff as he walked into Natasha's room and he closed the door behind him.
"Something happened to my suitcase, and I forgot to buy a new one" said Natasha as she was thinking of what to do, her flight was leaving soon, and she did not want to miss it.
"Well then, consider this a goodbye present from me to you devochka (girl)" said Romanoff as he turned around and Natasha saw him holding a yellow suitcase in his hand.
"A suitcase?" asked Natasha as she was suspicious.
"I thought your old one looked rather worn out" said Romanoff.
"You know, that's funny, since I just bought it" said Natasha as she could smell a rat here, either Romanoff knew that her suitcase was taken and he did not say anything, or maybe he had something to do with it, but either way, Natasha did not care, she wanted to be well on her way to the airport.
"You want it or not devochka (girl)?" asked Romanoff.
"I don't have much time, so yes, thank you" said Natasha as she took the suitcase from Romanoff as he smiled.
"Alright devochka (girl), be quick, I will drop you at the airport" said Romanoff.
"Alright" said Natasha as she opened the suitcase as she started to put all her stuff in it.
"You know, I am suspicious, why would you gift me a suitcase, did you know that mine is missing?" asked Natasha as she turned to look at Romanoff.
"Loyalty devochka (girl), it's all loyalty, that is the most important thing" said Romanoff as Natasha felt that Romanoff's words held more meaning, but she really did not have time to think about that now.
"Whatever you say Romanoff, whatever you say" said Natasha as she really did not care, he did like speaking in parables after all.
"I will wait for you outside" said Romanoff as he walked out of the room and Natasha finished packing all her stuff neatly as she closed her suitcase, she took her laptop bag and she left the key on the table as she walked out of the room.

"Commander, we have received word that the target's plane has just landed" came the voice of a police officer as he looked at Pete.
"Alright, stand guard get ready, get the dogs, we need to catch this criminal" said Pete as he yawned.
"Yes commander" said the officer as he walked to do as Pete had commander.
Pete yawned as he took another sip of his hot coffee, here he was, spending his new years on a mission, busting a criminal, sure he loved doing this, but if he had a choice, he would rather be home sleeping right now, he was exhausted, criminals never rested but he needed to rest.
"Morales, report" said Pete as he spoke into the walkie talkie he had in his hand.
"The information we received about the target said that the flight would be flight A036, and we can find them at the 4th gate" came Morales's voice from the other side of the line.
"Alright, and do we have our men there or not?" asked Pete as he took another sip of his coffee.
"They are already in position boss, waiting for command" said Morales.
"Alright, I'm on my way, don't do anything till I get there, unless the target is trying to escape, then capture him or her" said Pete.
"Yes Commander" said Morales as he nodded his head.

Natasha yawned as she walked to the conveyor belt to get her suitcase, she was beyond tired, the jet lag was really taking a toll on her, she was sure that she would have a hard time getting used to the time zone back here.
Natasha checked her phone as she waited for her bag to come around, the time was 7am.
Natasha smiled, she could not wait to get home, she had purposely not told her baby that she was returning earlier than expected, she wanted to surprise her, she could not wait to see the smile on her baby's face.
Natasha put her phone back in her pocket as she smiled and she walked to get her suitcase as she saw it come through the other side, and she walked past a woman to get it.
Natasha checked the tag on her suitcase to make sure it was hers, and once she was sure that it was, she proceeded to walk out of the terminal.
Natasha could hear some noises as she wondered what was going on, but she just shrugged it off as she continued walking, until she heard the sound of a dog barking and she looked in front of her as she saw a police dog barking and a unit of police officers with their guns out, she wondered if they were here to catch someone.
Natasha kept walking until she the police dog suddenly walked to her as it barked even more violently as Natasha stopped, she did not know what to do.
"Hands up in the air ma'am" came the voice of a police officer as he pointed a gun to Natasha as she was confused as she looked at him, she did not know what was going on.
"Excuse me?" asked Natasha as she was so confused.
"Ma'am stop moving, hands up in the air, or else I will be forced to shoot" said the officer as Natasha did as she was told, this made no sense to her.
"Cuff her" said the officer to another as the second officer nodded and walked to cuff Natasha's hand as he put her hands behind her back.
"Yes Commander, we have the target" said the officer as he spoke into the walkie-talkie as he heard a response.
"I am on my way" came the response from the walkie-talkie.
"Ma'am you are under arrest" said the officer as he looked at Natasha.
"Wait, hang on" said Natasha as she heard the sound of the handcuffs locking together.
"Why am I under arrest, under what basis?" asked Natasha as she did not do anything wrong, she was being falsely accused here.
"Don't play dumb ma'am, we know people like you" said the officer.
"Excuse me? People like me?" asked Natasha as the officer scoffed.
"I demand to know on what basis I am being arrested, this Is unfair" said Natasha.
"You really want to play dumb, then I will spell it out for you, you are under arrest on the charge of smuggling in drugs into the United States of America" said the officer.
"What??!" asked Natasha as her eyes went wide.
"I do not have any drugs on me, you have the wrong person" said Natasha as she could not believe this.
"Save your explanation ma'am, you will be taken to our station for more questioning" said the officer as Natasha sighed, just what was this?
"I'm here, where is the target?" asked Pete as he walked to where his men were.
"Commander, there she is" said the officer as he stepped aside and Pete felt like he was dreaming when he saw Natasha.
"Natasha?" asked Pete as this was the last person he expected to see here.
"Hi Pete" said Natasha as she laughed sheepishly, she was In deep trouble this time.
