"Natasha, I am so sorry, so, so sorry" said Chloe as she hugged Natasha and tears fell from her eyes as her husband Neil walked over to where Dom was standing along with the others.
"Neil" said Dom as he brought his hand out for a handshake.
"Dom" said a dark-haired man named Neil with brown eyes as he shook Dom's hand and he nodded at Charlie, Michael and Nine who nodded at him.
"Not the best circumstances for us to see each other" said Neil.
"Well isn't that the case" said Dom as he smiled sadly.
"My condolences" said Neil.
"Thank you" said Dom as he smiled.
"Chloe, thank you for coming" said Natasha as she sniffed, this was what friends were for, to be there when you needed them the most, and Natasha appreciated that Chloe had come here to comfort her.
"Oh you don't need to thank me Natasha" said Chloe as she broke their hug.
"How are you doing?" asked Chloe.
"Honestly, horrible" said Natasha as tears dropped from her eyes, she was just feeling so horrible right now, this was not easy for her at all, she was putting her father to rest, something she had not had to do in her past life, but now here she was, as if she was a curse, and if she did not die, everyone else around her that she loved would die instead, it just hurt her.
"Oh Natasha, I cannot say that I know how you feel, but just know that we are all here for you" said Chloe as she smiled.
"Thank you Chloe" said Natasha as she smiled and she sniffed and Chloe smiled at her, Natasha was always a good friend to her, so she was going to be a very good friend to Natasha as well, because Natasha needed her right now.
In the moment of silence as everyone just stood there, the sound of a phone ringing interrupted the sombre mood as everyone wondered who's phone was ringing at this time.
"Oh sorry everyone" said Lia as she smiled apologetically and she rummaged through her black handbag as she tried to find her phone, she had forgotten to put it on silent, she quickly found her phone as she answered the call.
"That's alright" said Dom.
"Sorry it's urgent" said Lia as she walked away to take her call so as not to disturb anyone.
"How old was he?" asked Chloe as she looked at Natasha.
"Fifty six" said Natasha as she smiled.
"He looks so peaceful" said Chloe as she smiled.
"Yes, he has always been so peaceful" said Natasha as she smiled.
Lia had finished picking up her call and she walked back as she spoke to Dom and the others, and she turned to look at Natasha.
"Oh my Natasha, I am sorry, I have to go now, something urgent came up" said Lia as she walked to Natasha.
"Oh that's alright Lia, thank you for coming" said Natasha as she smiled at Lia, she was appreciative that she even came.
"Oh Natasha, I am so sorry that I need to leave at this time" said Lia as she sighed.
"Don't worry Lia, I understand" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Be strong sweetie" said Lia as she gave Natasha a kiss on the cheek.
"I will" said Natasha as she smiled.
"I will call you later alright" said Lia as she smiled.
"Alright" said Natasha as she smiled and Lia walked away, she really wished that she could stay longer but she just could not, and she was really disappointed that she could not be there for Natasha when she needed her most.
"Natasha, please excuse me, I need to talk to Neil" said Chloe after a few minutes.
"Go ahead" said Natasha as she smiled and Chloe smiled at her as she walked away.
"Nat" came Pete voice as he caught sight of Natasha and she looked very sad.
"Oh Pete" said Natasha as she started crying, he was here, he was finally here.
"Oh Nat, I am so sorry" said Pete as he hugged Natasha as she hugged him back.
"Pete" said Natasha as all she could do was cry, he did not know how much his presence here meant to her.
"I came here as soon as I received your call" said Pete as he hugged Natasha, he blamed himself for not being there when she needed him most, he was on a mission in the other city to bust a drug cartel, so he was offline for three days, and once he had finished with his mission he had rushed back here once he had heard the news.
"I wasn't there when you needed me most" said Pete as he hugged her.
"Don't blame yourself Pete, duty calls" said Natasha as she broke their hug and she laughed as she wiped her tears.
"I should have been there" said Pete.
"But you are here now, and that is what matters" said Natasha as she smiled at him, there he was being so caring again, she was glad that he was here with her, he was her best friend after all.
"Oh Nat" said Pete as he sighed, Uncle Larry was like a father to him, he had known him since he had met Natasha, and he was always very nice to him.
"How are you?" asked Pete.
"Sad" replied Natasha as she cried.
"It hurts Pete, it just hurts so much" said Natasha as she cried.
"I know, and I don't think he would want you to cry" said Pete as he was trying his best to comfort Natasha.
"Yes, I know, but I never listened to him did I?" asked Natasha as she laughed while teary eyed.
"Nat" said Pete as he smiled.
"You know he loved you very much right?" asked Pete as he smiled.
"I know, I know he did, and I still love him very much" said Natasha as she sniffed.
"He will always be in your heart" said Pete as he smiled.
"Stop coaxing me Pete, that sounds like something you would say to a child" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Well either you are a child or an adult, he will always be in your heart" said Pete as he smiled.
"Thank you, Pete, what would I do without you?" asked Natasha as she smiled and she gave him another hug.
Dom looked at Pete and Natasha as they were hugging, he was glad that at least someone was able to comfort Natasha, and that was what mattered most.
"You would do many things without me, because you are strong, you are capable, you are stubborn" said Pete as he laughed and Natasha laughed.
"And most of all you are yourself Nat, and you are you" said Pete as he smiled.
"Thank you Pete…thank you" said Natasha as she smiled and she sniffed.
"Anytime Nat, anytime" said Pete as he smiled.
"My dear" said Ernest as he walked over to where Natasha and Pete were standing.
"Oh Grandfather" said Natasha as she let go of Pete and he hugged Ernest.
"How are you?" asked Ernest as he hugged Natasha as she smiled at Pete and Pete smiled back at him as he walked away to greet the others.
"Would you believe me if I said that I was fine?" asked Natasha as she sniffed.
"My dear, I know how you are feeling, but everything will be fine trust me" said Ernest as he smiled.
"Yes Grandfather, I trust you" said Natasha as she smiled and she wiped away her tears.
"Come my dear, the service is about to start" said Ernest as he smiled and he and Natasha walked to join the others.
…

During the funeral service, Natasha could not contain herself, she cried, and she cried, and as they laid her father to rest in the ground she thought of her life, this was probably how they placed her in the ground in her past life.
This made her realize that in the end life was nothing, it was so fragile, from dust, back to dust, her heart felt pained, she was never going to see him again.
After they had laid him to rest, everyone left, as they decided to leave her alone for a while as they gave her some final moments with her father.
"Hi Dad" said Natasha as she bent down and she looked at the gravestone as she smiled.
"I never thought of the day that you would go, to me… you would always live forever, you would always be there" said Natasha.
"But now… you are gone" said Natasha as tears dropped from her eyes.
"And it hurts, but… but I know that you are in a better place now" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Daddy, I love you, I always have and always will" said Natasha.
"I was too young to remember when Mom left" said Natasha.
"But to me, you have always been my mother, and my father" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Mom" said Natasha as she turned to look at the next gravestone only inches apart from her father's.
"I hope that you and Dad are happy now" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Rest in peace Dad, I love you" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Are you ready to go now?" asked Dom as he walked and he stood behind Natasha.
"Yes" said Natasha as she sniffed and she dried her tears.
"Let's go" said Natasha as she smiled and she stood up as she placed a lovely bouquet of flowers on her father's grave as she looked at it one more time, before she turned around and she walked to Dom.
"Are you alright?" asked Dom.
"I'm fine" said Natasha as she smiled and she walked ahead of him, and he followed after her, he knew that she would just need some more time.
